Great recipes
Another great addition to the 'original' Sirt food diet book, it expands the range of dishes available to anyone committed to following this healthier way of eating. The recipes are lovely, and I am enjoying working my way through them - not t0o 'cheffy' - or fiddly, if you prefer. I like this Skinny series format too - clearly laid out, one recipe to a page, lots of hints.

What is the point?
Really nothing exciting or of interest at all. I suspect if you reduce your calories to the degree suggested then you will lose weight anyway, no matter what you eat. They don't really explain how eating these items will switch a gene on so the 'science' behind it is, at best, a bit hazy.

Don't buy it
I you've read anything about the principles of the SIRT food diet you could create any of the recipes in this book without any help - there was not one I was tempted to try so I sent it back.

Good theory and recipe ideas
Comprehensive recipe selection, outlines the theory behind the diet.. Now to actually do it!
