These mats worked great for soundproofing my car doors. They are easy to cut and shape. I used a seam roller to apply them, and they stuck perfectly to the metal. The cabin feels much quieter now and the doors have a solid "thud" when closing. Great value for the money!

Great stuff and easy to work with. I bought this to sound proof my trunk and rear deck due to adding a bigger sub. Workes great to eliminate rattles! I recommend taking your time and doing all the proper cleanup and prep work and grease removal prior to install installation. It sticks well and cuts easily with sheats or razor blades but you should use rollers to install. Bass now sounds clean ind rattles are gone! Will be buying again for other builds!

Works great and sticks really well, only bad part is it did not stick on the body glue/silicone that comes on jeeps in the rear. I did notice a reduction in noise, waiting for summer to see if it helps with heat. I ordered 2 boxes for a 4 door jeep but had alot left over, I did cover very high on the firewall so if you don't you could probably get away with 1 box. Most 4 door cars will probably take 2 but it's still a very good value.

Before I start, make sure to buy a roller, a good quality roller, they have amazing kits that now come with different sized rollers, trust me, invest in those because I assure you, you will end up using them for something else down the line! I have been using sound deadening material for a very long time, even before it became a very big thing. I have sound proofed many cars from BMW, to my beautiful Acura Legend LS coupe that I miss so much, to my now Ford Explorer 2013 Limited. Now, I've been accustomed to using the more expensive brands, however, those are double to triple the price. Now, are these better than those? No! But it truly depends on the car you have! I won't use these on a very expensive car! Makes no sense to use these on a brand new car as well, because for something like that, you want to go all out. Now, in truth, for the price of the more expensive name brand, you can buy 2 to 3 of these, and In truth you get more than just a bang for your buck! If you have a day, some beer, maybe a BBQ, a wife or girlfriend that is out for the day, take your time and hit every spot that is metal within your car with this. I first started with the rear of my explorer, I removed the spare, the carpet and just started dropping these in, use your roller and take your time to roll it and spread it out, for these you will not need to heat it up before using the roller, but just take your time. I removed the sub woofer box, and placed some behind it ... I will give you some advice, if you ever had planned to change out the speakers, this is a perfect time to do it! I then removed the rear door panels and placed these inside of the door, and also on the outer layer of metal, most people only do the outer metal part and not deep inside, do both, you will thank me later trust me, it took me longer because I have large hands that only women can love, but not the right hands to try to get into every area that is small and tiny! If you really do have the time, take the seats out and remove the carpet and do the floor, and if you are lucky enough to not have a sun roof, remove that top and do the inner roof metal, front doors and then go to the hood, and remove the sound barrier of the hood, stick this on, put that barrier back on, and boom, you are all freaking welcome.... You will not only notice that it has help with road noise, you will see that the AC and heat will start to feel better as this will also help with retaining the cold and heat. The only problem now, and unfortunately this isn't part of the warranty, you can no longer use the road noise as an excuse to not hear your spouse any longer..... But hey, you will still thank me This installs very easy, it has the perfect thickness to keep enough sound out.... it will be an all day thing, but when that bass hits harder, forget about it....

Just buy it and do it. This brought my mid-bass to life. I have infinity Kappas all the way around in my 2024 Duramax with a kicker HS10 hideaway and I had almost zero mid-bass until I deadened the doors. I’ll never not do this again. The Amazon brand is amazing and half the price of anything else. Make sure you attend some YouTube university classes on how to deaden your vehicle and buy the roller tools. Don’t spend more than you need to. Just buy this stuff. It’s worth it.

Let me start by saying immediately, I don't have experience with the expensive brands of deadening. That being said, I'm an engineer, saw the testing results from various sources on the internet, and after applying it properly to my inner skin and frame, among many other areas... where I applied the product, it absolutely deadened the panel in that area. The cost of this stuff made it so that a project where I do one layer of the deadening and one layer of acoustic foam (in certain areas) was basically a non-issue. The difference it has made it dramatic. While it doesn't cause the doors to "thud" shut like a luxury car (you would need heavy mass vinyl in addition to the acoustic foam I used), it makes a massive difference. I did one side at a time, and completed it, so that I could open and close the front door that was done, and a front door that wasn't done, and a rear door that was done, and one that wasn't. The metallic tinniness is gone. The doors do shut with a more positive thud. Everything is better. Audio has improved. Road noise has improved (to the point that now I have new problems, like chasing down random rattles in the interior that actually are audible now). Weight add was negligible. Find a guide for your car and follow it. This stuff is easy.
