What is the ingredient that makes the bleeding stop?

The ingredient is a modified Amylopectin powder (ferrous sulfate)

Can blood stop be used inside of the mouth for such things as biting your lip or biting the inside of your mouth?

No. As an oral surgeon I'd suggest you get silver nitrate sticks or oral bleeding, but more than that, I'd wonder why you are biting yourself with enough force to cause bleeding and why so frequent.

How difficult is it to open? My dad is on blood thinners but due to a stroke he only has the use of one hand. A simple bandaid is a nightmare for him.

Can i use it for bleeding after a pulled tooth?

I wouldn’t. It’s thin, not even thick enough for a bleeding sore on my leg. I ended up putting a panty liner on it instead. Plus it has medicine in it. Not sure you’d want that seeping into your bloodstream from an open sore.
