I was unsure when I opened the box.. it’s smaller and thinner then what you would buy at a big box store.. it did not work on the pole I wanted it on..but I had another pole that it fit.. worked out real good. Easy fix.. blade super sharp and rigid.. Honest to god metal blade that can be sharpened..it cuts super great..needs worn in some as it a little hard to pull.. It really needs a thicker rope.. but for now, it will do..

Replaced the broken pruner head on my old pole. Fit perfectly. Trimmed a pine tree with ease. The pruner is sharp and cuts through thick branches with ease. The only issue is the rope which frequently gets caught on the bolts which fasten the head to the pole. Just need to hold the rope out and away from the pole when using the pruner. Happy with the product. Much cheaper than buying a whole new pole trimmer.

Well made replacement for my pole saw. The blade is a bit flimsy compared to my original blade but it is very sharp and cuts through branches easily. The wing nut screws loosen easily so I would replace them with standard nuts and lock washers. Overall a good product.

I bought this to replace an existing pruner that broke after decades of use. It attached easily to my existing pole. The cutting blade is very sharp and had no trouble cutting through branches up to 1" diameter. Cord seems a little light-duty but not a show stopper.

I gave it a 3 Because this stamped and bent to fit Pole trimmer head does not align with the pullies. Being off to one side puts a strain on the rope which has started to fray after one use due to the angle created by the pully design..... It worked just ok. Priced OK for a replacement and fit my pole well. The saw blade is flimsy and came loose several times. You really have to usesome finesse to keep it from bending. It got the job done with some minor frustrations. I trimmed 5 bundles of branches already....Hope the rope (which is way to thin) holds up as I have about 1 more bundle to do.

Works great! I was able to easily reach branches to trim my tree with ease. The quality of the blade/parts are durable.

After +20 years, my Fiskars head broke. They don't sell the replacement anymore, so I bought this. For this item, the nuts/bolts don't stay in place. And the rope broke. I had a felling it was not going to last--and it didn't. Net, it lasted 15 months vs. YEARS. Pay more and get a name brand product. $30 buck down the drain. I used it properly--poor design and materials.

Absolutely perfect! Easy to put together and it was a perfect match to my extension pole. My extension pole had a plastic tapered end and push down button to lower the connecting button that fit exactly into the head unit. You will need a wrench to hold the bolt head and pliers to tighten the wing nuts. Be aware there are 2 sizes for the bolts, washers, and wing nuts. Sort that out before you start attaching the head unit to your pole. You will figure that out easily. I just mentioned it because I tried using the wrong size wing nut on a bolt. End result was sturdy attachment to the pole and will easily cut or saw branches above arms length reach.

Very handy add-on for an extendable pole I have for other purposes i.e. saves money and storage space; a slight compromise of course (against a custom tool) but fine for occasional use. Make sure your intended pole is the right diameter range, to fit this tool, and is otherwise fit for purpose

Used it twice thus far and love it. I wish it was a bit cheaper though!

Excellent tool. I easily cut off all the branches that were knocking on the window on the second floor in 5 minutes. Some of them were 1 inch or more in diameter and were cut off without any problems or significant effort. You couldn't ask for anything better for the price.
