Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  I have a mixed review about this. On one hand, it does what it says it will do I believe. I feel the air is cleaner and easier to breathe. Although it feels like it dries out the air for some reason. I also do not detect any sort of ozone either, as ozone generators or even negative ion generators that produce ozone give me issues with my nose and eyes.I feel more energized using this for sure. I actually feel a tad bit jittery. It’s great for studying or trying to focus on something, and it does feel like it boosts my mood a bit too. BUT, I find that when I try to sleep with it, it keeps me awake oddly enough. I don’t feel as tired running this. It also later wakes me up due to noise. Another quick note about odors, it’s supposed to give-off no odors, or if you do smell something, it is supposed to smell like a fresh rain storm. I do not smell any sort of rain-storm odor from using this... I smell, nothing. It’s weird, but it strips every odor away. That’s a good thing.The build quality is decent too, and it even comes with a snazzy box and traveling pouch! Nice touch! Where I am a bit disappointed is the amount of noise it generates. I am okay with the fan noise, but it randomly makes an intermittent high-pitched squealing noise that makes keeping it on it the bedroom overnight impossible. I had to shut it off after only 3 hours in the bedroom. Even in my work office, it gets annoying and generates stares from others out of annoyance. It’s not super-loud, but loud enough that it gets bothersome. It’s hard to describe, and so I took a video and will upload it here for you to see. One video will be the normal noise of the unit, and the second longer video will show you the loud squelching noise.Another quick thing to note is that if you plug this near your computer, and you have an aluminum Apple computer, you will give yourself a mild shock every time your skin touches the computer. That’s no fault of the device, and common with any negative ion generator. Just something to keep in mind if you want to keep this on your desk. I don’t suspect you will have that issue with a non-metallic computer/device.I will probably keep this unit for the health benefits of preventing sickness, but if the noise gets worse, I may be forced to return this sadly. The size is great otherwise (it fits in the palm of your hand) and it is very sleek and modern looking.3/1/18: EDIT - Spoke with Ryan from Pacific Ion and he recommended blowing a puff of air on the fan area with the unit off. Voilà, noise problem solved! Must have been a few flecks of dust on the emitter. I give this little guy 5+ stars now!

As many would be, I was concerned if the ionbox truly cleared the air. So, I felt the real test would be my garage. Every morning when I stepped into the garage, I smelled exhaust. Even though the garage door had been opened during each day time, I still detected exhaust fumes. So, at bedtime with the garage door closed, I placed the ionbox in the garage. Sure enough, the next morning, there was no odor. Two days later, having not used the ionbox in the garage, the odor returned. So, one more night of testing proved again, the ionbox removed the odor. Yes, I am convinced!

If you don't believe any of the other review stating how wonderful this product is, you surely should listen to me! This house i live in is very dusty. I mean dusty to the point where in just a few days time, I would see dust bunnies everywhere. But from the moment that I plug the ion box in, the dust subsided, I don't feel dirty anymore, I'm sleeping a little better, and the air smells and feels VERY fres!!!I mean it's just simply amazing! If you suffer from asthma or know anyone that does, or you just really want to get bad odors out of your house like mold and dust and mildew smells, get 2 of these! they work!!!12/9/2016 just wanted to update and say that when they get noisy, that means you need to remove most of the cotton on both ends of a qtip and gently push it inside of the small openings between the plastic fan blades to clean out the black stuff that has accumulated in there. i have to do this at least twice a week with how dusty this room gets

This little device works wonders!I was a little skeptical at first because I had bought a few of these ionizers from Aliexpress and Ebay for a few dollars. I decided to give the Ionbox a shot and I was blown away! I plugged it in and the little fan started spinning. The blue light turned on as well but after a minute the blue light was gone. The led might be faulty but it's actually better without the light. The device has been running non-stop for two days now. Our apartment is 53m3 (570 sq.m) and it has cleared the air in the whole apartment. The air smells clean and I can't detect any smell that was there before. It's been two days so I can't say much about it's energizing effect. I decided to do a little experiment with the device. I usually use my e-cig on the balcony and sometimes I've taken a couple of puffs inside the apartment and the vapor clears very slowly even with the windows open. While the Ionbox was running I took several puffs inside the apartment with the windows closed. The air was clear within a minute.I'm very happy with the product! I contacted the Ionpacific customer service regarding the broken led light and I got a reply promptly. They would've replaced the unit if I wanted so but I said I'm happy even if the led is broken, even better. Great job Ionpacific!

Measured with my negative ion counter and output is actually a little more than 20 million ions. The ionbox 20m definitely delivers on it's claim.Another thing I like about it compared to other ionizers is that the ionbox doesn't emit any ozone.Will be purchasing a few more for friends/family.

The product is a nice small unit which can be easily moved and plugged in for use.But even though it was ordered to be delivered to Australia it only came with a US plug. I had to go out and buy a conversion travel plug to be able to use it here in Australia.No good enough for a $136 product.

I have purchased 3 of these units. One for work, one for home and one for my daughter. It has a USB port which is very efficient and space saving. It also looks great and works effectively. I don't seem to feel tired mid afternoon anymore. I'm very happy with this product.

The Ionbox was ordered on July, 8 2020It completely stopped working a few weeks ago. Ive contacted the company who, on three occasions tell me they are processing a replacement but haven't.

I like what this does in theirory i just hope its working well
