This bulb brought my Mag Lite back to life. Great fit with no modifications. Just drop in place of a filament bulb. Definitely much brighter and whiter light. Beam goes much farther now. Excellent quality. Functions perfect. Does NOT get hot either.

Purchased the two bulb pack on Sept. 14,2024 to upgrade my Mag-Lite 2D battery flashlights that I keep on hand for our Fl. hurricanes. They have not been used except to verify they work well along with functioning two cell D batteries. Today one flashlight’s bulb had a noticeable crack type of sound after being turned on and then no longer lit. The other flashlight’s bulb would illuminate but it was so dim to be of any use. All other flashlight parameters were examined and found to be working normally. Both bulbs have less than 15 minutes total burn time and are less than 1 year old and been kept indoors at all times. This purchase costing $14 plus change was a complete waste and borders on fraud. Only one bulb had any marking on it, namely 3v3w, while its companion bulb lacked any manufacture’s marking of any kind. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME & MONEY ON THIS PRODUCT. COMPLETE DRECK! So far works as expected. Replaced an old mag lite bulb with this. Then turned ig off and its sots in a drawer.
