I took my bike out of town after installing to see where I would lose signal with my favorite FM station. With the stock antenna It would start cutting out at 100 km and would be completely gone by 105 km. With the 7" Rydonair it started to show weakness in a couple valleys starting at 90 km and then would cut out in valleys by 95 km. At 100 km it was unusable. So it only loses about 5% range over stock from what I can tell so far. Very happy with the results. I was happy with the stock antenna but had to get a shorty to use with my new tour-pak. With the results I got I will just leave the shorty on all the time.

Exactly what I was looking for and provided same reception as my original antenna. The only challenge with installation is that it is hard to orientate the antenna the correct position when screwing it on. You have to find the right starting point to start screwing the antenna on so it is straight when it is on and that took far too many tries to get right.

The stock antenna on my 2021 FLTRX was one of the first things I wanted to get changed and bought this one. It was a perfect fit, mounted easily onto the antenna base, and reception is crystal clear.

It is perfect solution, and the reception actually seems better than the stock antenna. I have it on my 2019 Road Glide, and I am also 95% sure it will clear the tour pack I plan to put on the back. Which I dont have yet so cannot confirm. But I will update when I do.

bought this when I bought the bike cover.Just isn't practical to be removing the long antenna......however radio reception is not very good ....good thing I mostly listen to downloaded tunes .....looks good on the bike tho.Thanks Tim cheers!
