AutoCAD 2017 and AutoCAD LT 2017: Essentials 1st Edition

Great price

Bought this to learn AutoCAD LT for my summer job. The tutorials are clear and helpful! I do wish there was an index of all of the different ways to trigger the same commands, and I wish the book had a section on using construction lines. The last few chapters are not relevant if you have LT, but most of the exercises work just fine regardless.

Good book, big help with getting started

I have been through 4 different AutoCAD instruction manuals and this one is as big a disappointment as most others. I found one a few years ago for AutoCAD 2012 that was excellent, and worth the month. This one is lacking in understandable instruction and missing so much detail.

Great Book

The book should have included a CD with the practice files the book uses in all its examples. Instead one is suppose to download it from a website that is compromised. I had to deal with lots of junk files and unknown programs, some in Chinese or Japanese, that I had a terrible time deleting. The book is fine, just don't try to download the sample files from the website.
