Timex Women's Marathon by Timex 32 mm Digital Watch

My daughter loves this watch and it’s functioning well and still going a year in! Great watch and holds up well with all the activity of a young teen!

I like the size shape and look of the watch. The thing that is a really big pain is the directions to set the time alarm etc. The material that came with it provided no guidance. I absolutely dreaded the change of time recently to DST because I knew it would take me an hour to move the darn time fwd. Which it did. Some simple instructions included in the purchase of the NEW item would have been welcomed. Not a web site that was not specific to this marathon watch.

I would love to give this 5 stars, but the fact is that toggling between modes is confusing. The watch came with the alarm turned on and, of course it has no paper manual. Trying to figure out how to turn it off took forever. I bought this strictly to use as a stopwatch while I exercise. At first it was fine, but I somehow got to a mode where I was not able to get back to the stopwatch. Toggling between the various screens using the Mode button would not take me back to the stopwatch screen. You have to do some weird thing of using two buttons at the same time to get between certain modes. It is absurd. With a digital stopwatch, pressing the mode button is supposed to take you from one screen to the next and you should be able to get to all screens that way. Not being able to do that is hugely frustrating and I would not have bought this watch had I known that. Especially since I am forced to look up the manual online any time I have a question about how to do something with the watch. I give 3 stars because it does what it's supposed to if you can get where you need to be, but take off 2 because there are features that are not intuitive and this is a $30 stopwatch, there is no reason at all why the functions should require any sort of extra finangling.

This is a solid watch with a single alarm, but the instructions are not in the box and are not intuitive. I emailed Timex for them, but can't figure out how to upload a PDF to this review, only a pic.

El reloj llegó en buen estado, sin embargo la caja viene maltratada y el soporte para guardar el reloj está roto. En fin TIMEX es calidad, pero quienes lo empacaron y transportaron dejan mucho a desear.

Gift for my daughter. Battery flat after 3 days. Arrived with damaged packaging. Watch maybe ok but this one wasn’t.
