As with the Kook tagine I ordered previously, these pie plates were carefully packed & arrived in perfect condition. They’re beautiful & seem sturdy.

This is a very special dish for me and our semi-tame doves. I put out home made bread crumbs for our feathered friends but got tired of seeing them being “swept” away by the wind and leaving the birds with nothing. The light bulb moment arrived with the thought of containing the crumbs so there would always be something left worth flying over to my table. One day, the dish will be used for its intended purpose for pies, but for now it looks beautiful on my table and serves my friends. P.S. The dish is solid; doesn’t rock from side to side and has been painted well. Do buy it. You won’t regret your purchase.
