I like this product very much - does a great job on my small dog's teeth. However, in the last box I ordered, 3 of the pink sponges came off in her mouth as I was cleaning her teeth and the box is still half full. This has never happened before and that is the reason for 4 stars, not 5.

We bought these for our newborn twins. They used these in the NICU the keep their mouths cleaned and make it a little easier for them to breathe and swallow. We have continued using mouth swabs at home because wiping the gums is the first step in dental care for babies. We bought these and when they arrived we found they are much stiffer, and more abrasive than what we were used to. They might work better for an adult, but they were far too rough for babies. It left their mouths red. We are trying something different in the future.

I first used these back in 2020 when I was going through radiation and chemo for a tumor in back of my tongue. I had a feeding tube and could not swallow anything. The radiation/chemo gave me mouth sores, so I used these to keep my mouth moist. Now I have ORNJ from the radiation, I use these to apply chlorhexidine on my exposed bones in my mouth.
