You get what you pay for
Dogs LOVED these. They don't break or splinter like the cheaper brand I bought. Too expensive, though

made from natural ingredients
I recently tried the Himalayan Dog Chew Yak Cheese Dog Chews, and I have to say, I'm impressed. I was recommended these chews by an employee at my local pet store, and I'm glad I gave them a try.The chews are 100% natural, long-lasting, and gluten-free, which is a big plus for me as I'm always looking for healthier options for my furry friend. Additionally, my dog has a sensitive stomach, but we had no issues with these chews, which is fantastic. One thing to note is that these chews are quite hard, so they may not be suitable for all dogs, particularly those with dental issues. However, my dog had no trouble chewing on them, and they kept him occupied for quite a while.Overall, I would highly recommend the Himalayan Dog Chew Yak Cheese Dog Chews. They're a great, healthy treat option that my dog enjoys, and I appreciate that they're made from natural ingredients.

Fantastic Chew
This has been such an excellent chew for my big Yorkie. She is a surprisingly strong chewer and it has taken her roughly a month to turn it into a strange Yak cheese shank. I think she's planning something. Definitely will be repurchasing this for her if I survive her nefarious plot.

Our puppy loves them!
Our puppy is in his teething stage and the normal teething rings only last so long. I discovered these yak chews not expecting much but we are on our 6th day of continuous fun and it’s only halfway finished! Our pup loves it and it really occupies him when he has the urge to teeth. The peanut butter flavor has virtually no smell and hasn’t stained my white furniture - yet!Only complaint is that it become really crumbly from gnawing on it but other than that it’s great!

My dog is obsessed
Loves all the flavors. He’s a super chewer so they only last 2-3 weeks. They have a mild smoky smell but it’s not bad at all and it doesn’t transfer onto furniture. It does crumb up a little bit and make a sticky crumb mess though. Also, my dog has the most sensitive stomach. He can’t have bully sticks or collagen sticks. More expensive but worth it. Chewing is the only thing that seems to really calm him. Highly recommend. Also the fact you can puff the remaining bit as a treat to eat makes them economical.Update: I bought bone and after bone and never had a problem but today I received a 3-pack of the small peanut butter ones that were moldy. They had some darker spots that seemed off and when I opened the package I got a whiff of fermented grass. Got a refund no problem. Just want all of your pups to stay safe and healthy so do a sniff check!!

clarification
Having read reviews for this product (and other similar yak cheese chews), I expected a safe, long-lasting chew that my dog would enjoy without as much risk of choking or adverse health side effects as with other chews. At this price point, though, the chew does not last long enough to be worth the price. While others have mentioned that one of these chews will last weeks, this was not the case with my relatively small (30lb) beagle/hound mix. These chews deserve a star for being healthy. I've been told rawhides cause big problems, such as intestinal blockages and choking, they expand in dogs' stomachs, and they have lots of chemicals and very little nutritional value. I've also been told that beef bones can contain unhealthy bacteria (if raw), or can splinter and cause serious complications (when cooked). I've been told nylabones can lead to cracked teeth because they are too hard. Antlers and bully sticks seem to be ok, but more on that later. Generally, though, people seem to agree that chewing is an important activity for dogs, to promote clean teeth and gums, and to help expend some excess energy. So, if you're concerned with your dog's dental health or you just want to give them a nice safe chew, this is a good alternative, if you can afford to spend that much on chews for your dog. These chews deserve a star for "taste". My dog is somewhat picky with chews, and tends to avoid unflavored rawhides, doesn't like his nylabone, isn't a huge fan of sterile beef bones, and doesn't have much interest in antlers. He likes the bone-shaped meat-filled treats like busy bones, but they don't last very long either, and are more like a treat. He also loves bully sticks, but the bully sticks are a little smelly, and can also be expensive. He seems to like the himalayan dog chews as much as he loves bully sticks (though not as much as he loves pig ears), and the himalayan dog chew will last longer than a single 4-6" bully stick. My dog is not a very aggressive chewer- he usually just takes his time and chews slowly. Still, one of these treats only lasts roughly 90 minutes of total chewing time. The chew also softens a great deal after it gets wet with with saliva, so if I didn't break up the chewing sessions by taking the chew away and letting it dry out, the chew-time would be far less (since he can chew it much faster when it starts getting soggy). In summary, these are a great treat, they're healthy, enticing for dogs, and last a bit longer than things like bully sticks or rawhides, but they are not worth the price. I might order a few more as special treats to keep my dog occupied from time to time, but its not very cost effective for my dog, since they just don't last very long. For regular chews, I'll be sticking with bully sticks that are available on amazon for decent prices (freeze them to keep down the smell), and these bacon edible nylabones, which my dog LOVES, and which keep him occupied for a little while without being too expensive (but note, they are a crumbly-type chew, so don't expect them to last more than like half an hour): Nylabone Healthy Edibles Bacon Flavored Bone with Vitamins, Regular, 12-Count Pouch . If my dog were interested in antlers, I would buy those instead of these himalayan chews, because they really do last a long time, and are in the same price range.

My dog loves these and it’s a nice little surprise every month when they come! Love that none of it goes to waste too once he gets to the end you pop the small piece in the microwave let it puff up and it’s like a doggo Cheeto!

Great boredom beater for my dog
My dog loves these cheese chews. They are a great way to beat boredom in my dog. We've tried off-brands, but this one is the best and holds up the longest. Make sure to get the correct one for your dog's weight.

Sconsigliato
