After spending about $140 on a pool vac for our small pool, we were sorely dissapointed in the performance. The original filter was like a thick "coffee filter" material - clogged quickly and did little in the way of cleaning. I happened upon this filter - and I am blown away. I was able to vac our pool quickly, and it did an amazing job. Super easy to rinse clean. Get this filter!!!

Really good filter bag made of mesh and is strong. Have used mine half a dozen times and can say with certainty it will last much longer than that fiber mesh bag that originally came with the pool vac. This bag traps every kind of seed, bug, dirt, leaf, or grass that has entered my pool. I live in East Texas so vegetation is abundant. Really like this filter bag and the price is reasonable.

First of all I think this filter is wildly overpriced, but it works and is much easier to clean than the filter that comes with the unit. As far as filtering sand and small particles it does a great job. Yes if the particles are super fine then you will see some blow by the filter. But my feeling is that is so small you can't expect any type of vacuum to filter that out as the filter would have to be so fine you wouldn't have any suction. Where I live in South Texas we have a lot of wind everyday and we get quite a bit of blowing sand and such. I use this once a week on my pool and it does a great job of getting the stuff that the pool valet units do not push into the drain. Do not expect this to suck up leaves and such as the throat of the unit is a little larger than a quarter. I would buy this filter again as I think I is much better than the standard filter. But I did choke on the price once I saw what it was.

These are great. They work well for picking up small things and leaves on the bottom of the pool. I'm not sure why this filter doesn't come with the WATER TECH POOL BLASTER MAX HANDHELD BATTERY SWIMMING POOL CLEANER VACUUM in the first place. It should. I have no idea what that filter they ship with it is good for. The one that comes with it is like batting that you would wrap a pillow with. You use it twice and clean it and it's torn up. If you buy the vacuum for your swimming pool, you should buy this sand and silt filter at the same time as this is the one you will want to use with it that will last. Wish I'd done that when I ordered the vacuum but I didn't realize how poor the other filter would be.

I'm an older widow with an above ground pool. So it up to me to do all the maintenance. I bought my house last year not because of the pool but in spite of it. So I'm forced to do the extra care. The hooking up to the sand filter was a nightmare, the suction was too much for me to handle. So I was constantly having to turn the pump off to break the suction to continue the vacuuming. I search reviews and different websites for an alternative. I purchased this product from the high reviews given. I live this little lifesaver. It only takes me 15 min from start to finish in my 13000 gallon pool. I've cleaned 3 times on one charge. It's awesome. Just remember to rinse the filter each time and it will become the best thing to complete your summer fun.

The orginal filter that came with the vac is much longer in length and stronger/thicker. The one received does fit well but just does not meet my expectations, as it seems to cheaply made and much smaller. Cost is high for what you get. On a possitive note, the item did come in quicker than projected.

Works great for fine sand but I need one more for big things. [bugs leaves ect.]

This is a new and improved version of the original that I got with my pool blaster when I bought it 3 years ago. The fit is perfect and expected that, but the material is SOOO much better. Much easier to rinse out than the original that got kind of fuzzy and tended to get harder to clean all the time.

Der Ersatzbeutel erfüllt seine Aufgabe. Mit dem regelmäßigen Einsatz des dazugehörigen Poolsauger wird nach einer gewissen Zeit Beutel- ersatz erforderlich. Dafür ist der Ersatzbeutel mit über 50 Euro eindeutig zu teuer. Ansonsten alles o.k.

This will NOT pick up silt, sand possibly, this is totally overpriced for a piece of plastic with a small bag attached, basically the same as what comes with.the pool blaster. Annoyed that i've been ripped off.
