Desert Steel 409-111S - Hanging Bird Seed Cake Feeder - Pear Blossom Flower - (14”L x 7”H x 6”D)

This is a very nicely crafted bird feeder. I wish it had longer spokes going into the ground as a squirrel found this feeder very quickly, jumped on it & over it went. It went together easily and I love the brilliant blue color.

Bought for my mother's birthday. She loves it. I had previously purchased one of these from another seller and never received it, but saw the reviews finally show up after waiting for about 3 weeks. It was small and flimsy, and glued with a hot glue gun and the everyone hated it. This one is sturdy and the perfect size. Definitely purchase from Desert Steel and not a knock off company. Worth every penny. Super easy to put together. You can bend the petals out further as well to make it easier for birds to stand on. LOVE it!

This actually exceeded expectations. So easy to put together, nice size, seems very sturdy and well made. Already saw a blackbird peeking thru my dense leafy hedges to sample seeds and peanuts. Hoping small birds discover it away from other feeders where the doves congregate. Time will tell if the rain effects the metal, but it looks so lovely now. Ordered a second one with a open feeder attachment, more accessible and purple. Would make a great gift for a bird lover with back yard garden.

Very cute and easy to assemble. Seems to be made of decent materials and when I watered the area I wanted to put it in, I had no issue getting it pushed far enough down. My only issue is the screws that came with it are smidge short which leaves it a little bit wobbly.

I LOVE my new bright fuschia coneflower bird feeder and have already gotten many compliments on it!The only two items I would comment on that could be improved are that the stake part of the feeder that goes into the ground could be sharper and longer. When I first put it out, I had a little squirrel who tipped it multiple times. Once I realized I had to really step it into the ground and compact the soil around the bottom, the problem was resolved.The other little problem I noticed recently is that the seed inside the feeder cup does get wet. I had a few clumps of "stuck together" seeds in it when I went to refill it, and so I fished them out and replaced with fresh seed. If you have to dump out the cup, you would have to take the whole thing out to dump it. It's easiest to refill it with a cup of seed from the top. I think if the top were more solid, maybe rain couldn't get into where the seeds are.It is so darn cute, that I don't really even care if the seeds stay dry, I'd be happy to just leave it empty, but it is definitely cuter with the birds pecking seeds out of the blossom.

This is very beautifully and other than the paint job is beautifully made but it came out of the box already chipped in at least 3 places. Don’t feel like returning Probly should but I actually have fi Shia spray paint I will touch up with and then I’m going to Putnam cLear coat on as I see a pic of it rusted soon after put out. So this is very overpriced for this item in this condition. Hopefully I can just keep touching it up to get a few years out of.

I am getting SWARMED by birds and I love it!!! It holds a LOT of seed, birds perch either on the petals or in the seed itself. We bought 2, a red and purple one. Easy to assemble, gorgeous, sturdy. I’m leaving the same review for the red one. I had doubts birds would like it because of the structure, but they are waiting in line to get some grub. LOVE IT.

This is a beautiful designed bird feeder. The purple color is so vibrant. And as soon as I hung it up birds started landing on it and eating the seed. I did have a small problem. During some heavy winds here in AZ, the feeder hit the trunk of the tree and it broke the long branch off (that is the part you hang it with). But customer service was outstanding. They truly stand behind their products. They sent me a new one super quick. I love this feeder and am getting another, just in a different color.
