These brackets were the perfect solution for mounting gas struts. The metal feels strong and well-coated, and the ball studs fit the 10mm heads snugly with no play. Used these to add lift struts to a 2000 Jeep Cherokee which don’t come factory with them. It’s a neat little mod I ran across online. Takes a little trial and error to set them up properly for my purpose with the appropriate cylinder but got it done. The brackets are not all that beefy but work. The screws are absolute garbage and undersized. Swap out for larger screws or bolts and you’re good to go. We’ll have to see how well they hold up over time.
