Great product
Great product, works fine, easy to use. Batteries are not included but by installing new batteries, you will learn how to remove the battery for long time storage. It has both RJ11 connectors and clip leads. Another product is needed to verify CAT 5-6 connectors but this will locate unknown circuits or wire connections.

TRACE YOUR LINES !!
Great tool to trace your lines or find that particular line or wire. It also finds them through the wall. It is a little sensitive but for the price point it was well worth it. I use it to trace electrical lines as well as network lines.

Time Saver!!!
Great Value! I had several 120vac outlets that were causing me problems. Basement Hot Water Heater control power was off. Turns out it gets powered from 2nd Story Master Bathroom GFI (which powers one light). Easy to use don't need to remove plate covers. I hooked it on White Common/Ground (vs Black 120vac HOT). It isn't designed for 120vac Live Voltage. Only with the case was a little wider for the Sending Unit.

Good For Me
I am just a homeowner, this helps when running my electronic wires, coaxes, etc. Also on my off-road toys. Serves my simple needs. Decent price. 👍🏼

Tone signal drops off immediately, cannot get tone on any length of cable
Doesn't work for cable longer than the length of its own leads, sure you'll pickup tone at the generator, but try to hear the tone from a cable even a foot long and the signal drops off entirely. Do not buy.

Cheap made not a lot of thought put into how they open to install the batteries
You open the devices to install batteries the nuts that the bolts go to fallout and are so small you have to use a magnet to find

Works until you need as an every day tool.....
Works great until you have wires over 75 feet then the receiver isn't sensitive enough to sense any type of signal. In a rack with over 90 wires it was useless even once I removed the casings on every wire and touched each pair. The issue continued over the use of several different toning sources. For home use or small office... 100% would advise as a useful tool. For use as something in a daily use in my pouch... wait a day or two and get a better branded one.
