Amazon Retro Look for a Retro Price!
Love these shoes from the moment I set my eyes on them and I was lucky enough to grab them at a special sale price of only $32 here on Amazon. They fit exactly as I expected them to and even had a slight arch support, which was a pleasant surprise. I love their look and feel. Sometimes with shoes like this, the fit can feel a bit loose and the shoe will feel like it's coming off my heel as I walk, but not with these. These fit snug and are true to size. I have wide feet and these are not so narrow that they hurt my feet after being out all day, which happen with many Nike shoes that tend to be fairly narrow. The style, color, etc are beautiful and I love the retro look. I'm actually looking to buy these same model shoes in other colors. If you're looking for a great casual shoe that feels great and fit true to size, look no further. Get these and you won't be sorry.

They're like a minimalist shoe
This is my first experience with this brand. The light weight and nylon/mesh uppers remind me of shoes I wore as a kid, when those features were common with sneakers. They're like a minimalist shoe, but are probably more comfortable then most true minimalist shoes, because they do have a little cushion to them. The arch support is decent and better then expected, but I didn't expect it to be great. The sizing is fairly accurate. I ordered my normal size, which is an 11D in Nike. They seem a little big, but I think a smaller size would be too small (thanks to an arch falling, one foot always seem slightly too big for smaller sizes and not big enough for the larger.) The width is quite generous and also better then I expected. I love that they're light and airy, without much support, lift or cushion. It feels almost like you're barefoot, unlike some popular sneakers that feel like your walking on a piece of hard rubber.

Awesome. Quality all through out.
Very nice shoes, and not too expensive. My old shoes (Puma Athletic somethings) have very pointy toes - It wasn't a problem, but the fact that these Onitsukas have lots of room for my toes is apparent and very welcomed. The tread seems grippy enough; Not so aggressive that you'll tear out rubber and shred the shoes in horrible mangled chunks (after a few weeks of jumping around and gym stuffs), but good enough that you won't slip in most situations. It does an amazing job of picking up little rocks though; you'll be picking them out all the time if you like keeping the soles all nice looking (or uniform and clean). Unlike my Pumas these shoes are very nicely constructed (The Pumas were on sale -like 75% off- because there was some quality issue) . The materials and stitching are very good quality. No defects or any weird problems occurring due to manufacture error or shipping mishap. They are pretty flat shoes, but actually the insole is slightly molded to support your inner arches. They are extremely lightweight too, which is awesome because then I don't feel like I'm lugging extra weight around. It also makes them perfect gym shoes (I work at a parkour/gymnastics type gym) And they are pretty stylish; bold looking with the stark Black/green/white contrast. I almost don't want to wear my other shoes anymore because they simply don't look as sharp as these do. I was originally going to use them as my parkour gym shoes, but I really love them, and now I find I wear them all the time. It takes a determined effort to not wear them with my everyday outfits haha. Very nice shoes!

Great shoes, will serve me for years to come.
[1 year update] Still using these as my "daily drivers" and they are holding up well. The insole is glued in which has proven to be a bit annoying as it makes them more difficult to wash and doesn't allow me to switch to custom insoles. By this point the shoes have gone through the wash maybe 10 times and are still doing great. Bought these almost a year ago. Really comfortable, just what I needed. They are a bit on the tighter side which is perfect if you need them to stay on without shifting. The soles are super grippy and it's great that the toes have rubber as well. They can take a beating, but take good care of them. Wash properly and keep them protected when storing. The rubber may start pewling back around the toes, just clean it out with a toothbrush and mild soapy water and glue it back on with some shoe goo

Great budget driving shoe
I bought these shoes with the specific purpose of driving (autocross, track days, maybe rallycross in the future). They are excellent for heel-toeing. They're very lightweight. Slim/thin sole and overall profile allow for good maneuverability and great pedal feel and low-top design lets you roll your ankle easily, if that's how you prefer to "heel-toe." The heel isn't quite as curved as some dedicated driving shoes or some of the Puma _______ Cats, but it gets the job done for about half the price. As for overall comfort, they're ok. I have a very wide foot and often get shin splints or knee problems if I don't have the right type of shoe or good support. They have tons of arch support, but I usually prefer something with a more robust sole and slightly more heel support, so i probably won't be wearing these too much outside of racing events or long road trips. Also, they seem to run a 1/2 size large. I usually wear a 9 1/2, but i ordered these in a 9 and they're a perfect fit with 1/4" of space at the toe, the way I like it. Quality is...OK. Some of the interior stitching and seams leave a lot of extra material hanging out, which can get uncomfortable. Maybe that's just the particular pair I got, but if that's the case, then poor quality control. I've only had them for a day, so I can't speak to long term durability. Overall, if you're looking for a stylish, comfortable and effective driving shoe but don't want to shell out $100 for a pair of Pumas, definitely try the Onitsuka Tiger 81's.

3rd pair of Onitsuka Tigers
I love the design and feel of these shoes. They look great and feel amazing. The lifespan is about average compared to other sneakers I've owned. As is typical the soles wear away eventually and in the mesh style (of any brand sneaker) my big toe usually works a hole in the material. Onitsuka is no better or worse in that regard. What I LOVE about the feel of the shoes is the weight. So light they're almost weightless you feel it as soon as you put them on. The other thing you'll feel immediately is the ground. This is an important point because some people might not like that fact but I love it. I feel connected to the ground almost as if I'm barefoot (but with more protection from sharp things). I live in NYC and walk on a lot of pavement so you would think the thin sole would bother me but actually I find my feet feeling great after a long day of walking around. Maybe this is that whole principle of a thinner shoes making your foot muscles stronger - I don't know - I just know that I like the way it feels. Oh and the look of these shoes is sick (ie. incredible). I put in the yellow laces (that come with the shoe) and they look great!

Excellent shoe
As someone who does Parkour, I cannot say enough good things about these shoes. The grip is fantastic on most surfaces, such as any concrete surface, though somewhat lacking on rails. I am still able to perform rail precisions of 8 or 9 feet, but it took a while to get confident enough in the grip to do so. The sole is thin enough to let you get a feel for the ground but no so thin as to allow pebbles to inflict any pain (Unlike Feiyues). The arch tends is noticeably a bit high at first (Especially in my case, as I was used to wearing minimalist shoes), but foam of the arch wore down to a perfect level within a week. I've been wearing mine for about 8 months quite heavily, and they are wearing well. They are quite durable, and all of the fabric and non-rubber parts of the shoe are holding up fantastically. The only part of the shoe that are showing wear is the bottom of the shoes sole where the ball of my foot applies pressure during wall runs and the like. I liked these shoes so much that since purchasing them, I've picked up another two pairs. I've used them mountain biking, freerunning, hiking, and just casually around, and I'm very satisfied. Padding - 8/10 Durability - 9/10 Grip: Rails - 6.5/10 Most walls - 8.5-9/10 An excellent shoe at an excellent price (As they often dip to roughly $40 here on amazon). Could not be happier.

You get more than what you pay for!
Being a freerunner with smaller feet I tend to run through shoes (wear-out, rip, etc...) as if I had an infinite amount of them to wear. After training hard in these shoes for over a month now I can see that the shoes are perfectly fine. These shoes provide great grip on concrete and various smooth surfaces. I do not recommend running outside when wet, the "suction cups" on the bottom easily get filled with water and does not provide enough traction. When you order these, on the informational card it states that the suede's color may run (wear away due to water, etc). Now this was not a big surprise to me. I previously owned a pair or Onitsuka Tiger Mexico 66's and the same thing occured on them too. Now on to size, these shoes are half a size bigger than the actual size. I figured this out by comparing them side to side with my Nike Freerun 5.0s. The Nikes were in size 8 and the Onitsukas were in 7 and a half. The Onitsukas were a tad bit bigger than the Nikes. I dont see this as a problem, but it's something that should be considered. These shoes are really amazing and I recommend them to any freerunner out there, or if you just want to wear them casually, they provide great amounts of comfort for that too.
