Like the other users said this will fit a silverado with a little bit of trimming off the front so it will go in far enough to snap into place. I had tried 2 other cables and countless time messing with my flickering screen. Surely confident my HMI was bad I thought I'd try this first. Thank goodness I did as it solved my problem and saved me hundreds.

This data cable got my infotainment display working again. Like a previous user, it did require trimming the plastic connector so that it "snaps" into place on the backside of the screen. But once in place, screen came back on like normal. All touch, buttons, and steering controls work normally again. A quick description of my radio issues that led me to this product. My screen flickered and then went black. Just a black display with no responsive touch. Physical buttons stopped working (no Home, skip forward/back, media, etc.). Rear backup camera did not show when in reverse. However, volume continued to work, steering wheel controls, radio, satellite, bluetooth connectivity. Thinking of replacing the HMI module, which is costly and requires VIN programming, I decided to try this cable first to rule it out before targeting the HMI module. I'm glad I did because after months of YouTube videos and google searches I found the culprit! This product arrived as described and is roughly 3-4ft in length. Plenty of slack to route through your dash as you see fit.

Was not the proper clip for the back of my OE head unit (2018 Silverado), but I cut down just enough plastic to make it work. I was getting black screen for my entertainment screen. Works like a charm again!
