Great for the price
I don't write very many reviews, but I thought I should for this light. I just received the Gmconn 1200 lumen light and so far I'm impressed for the price. It is 6 times cheaper than the TLR-1 HL of which I have 3 and just as bright. It seems solid and well made, but I cannot rate the durability yet. It takes the same batteries as the HL, but does not have the hardware to tailor to a specific firearm fit so the switch may be farther out than desired. It mounted ok on my firearm. Time will tell on the battery life and durability.

Great light for the price.
I purchased this weapons light to be mounted on a Byrna less than lethal hand weapon, to be used in home defense by my parents. This light is solidly constructed and produces a very bright beam. The option to activate the strobe feature is also a plus. The on/off switch functions just as my much more expensive lights which are on my EDC firearms.

TLR1 Clone?
I originally went to Bass Pro Shops looking for a Streamlight TLR-1, but I couldn't justify the high price tag. I decided to take a chance on this light instead, and after owning it for over a year, I can confidently say it was the right decision. First, durability: I have put this through the ringer and drop-tested it multiple times, and it is still fully operable and reliable. The size and form factor are almost identical to the TLR-1, fitting my setup perfectly. It is super easy to operate and exceptionally bright. The only minor observation is that it is slightly heavier than the name-brand version, likely due to more robust materials, but it is hardly noticeable while shooting. With top-tier features without paying premium prices, do not hesitate to use this one. It’s an amazing, durable light. I hope this helps.

Simply a great light that includes great value!
I will start by saying that I typically do not write product reviews on Amazon. But when there is a product that can save customers money I will do so. These lights are awesome! I have run this light on one of my AR's for some time now, and through a few tactical night training courses. This light has performed flawlessly and can defiantly compete with the BIG MONEY brands. Numerous times I have promoted this light to my fellow shooters as they have been impressed with the quality, burn time and price. I now have a couple on assorted firearms. You will not be disappointed with this light.

Gmconn 1200 lumens rail mounted light.
Seems very well built out of solid aluminum. Extremely bright, strobe feature is great will light up a dark room like day time, easy to switch on/off and go into strobe mode.. I have not shot the gun with it mounted on the gun so I can't say anything about durability, quality build would seem it will last but if it only worked one time to save your life or loved ones it was well worth the price I paid, extremely pleased and would buy again..

Buy This Light...Seriously
I was hesitant at first to purchase this, but after reading the other reviews I tried it out, and I have to say I was blown away! I have used Streamlight and Olight lights for the last few years in EDC and have experience with Surefire X300's in my classes. Don't be thrown off the by low price expecting poor quality. This light is every bit as good or better than a Streamlight TLR-1 or PL Pro for 1/3 the price (And they both are made in china anyway, just like this one...) and the Surefire X300 for 1/5 the price. The construction feels sturdy and tolerances are tight. It's all metal, and it holds up just fine under recoil from 9mm up to my 45 supers. It's 200 lumens brighter and has 3000 more candela than the TLR-1 or Surefire; has a good run time (stays at full brightness the whole time too unlike Olight) and it fits in my holster set up for TLR-1. The switches are a bit less "crisp" than my tlr-1, but that is completely irrelevant to me. It's extremely bright, it turns on and off when I want, it has options for strobe for those who want that for some reason, and it does securely fit both glock and pic rails. I've tested it on both polymer and metal rails and it fits securely with 0 wobble or rattle. This will do just fine for any CCW or Home defense pistol set up. Don't do anything ridiculous like go swimming with your pistol or drag it behind your truck up a mountain road and it will do the job perfectly. Plus you don't have to spend $150-$300 on a 10 year old light design that hasn't changed.

Solid value for the money
Got this one for another pistol: this is my 2nd one of these. They work, they're bright, and seem plenty rugged enough to deal with how I'm going to use them. I've had the 1st one for well over a year - it gets carried and banged around as a normal EDC light does. It doesn't get egregiously abused. Batteries last well, and the light doesn't seem to quickly drop output if left on for awhile. That said, I think it's solid practice to use a better quality of battery in general for any electronics. Now... If you're a wannabe 'T1 Operator' and/or name brand gear snob please just do us all a favor & go ahead and go fap to whatever $2000 name brand pistol light that you're convinced will make daddy love you and/or make you stop hitting a two feet low & left at 7 feet: this light isn't for you. If you're a normal person? This will actually do the job without killing your wallet.
