Commercial Director on big shoots: Love It
I’m a commercial director filming for brands like adidas and Derrick Rose. I have a run and gun shoulder rig and needed a monitor that would pair well with my Sony a7iv. I love love love this monitor! Easy to use and connect. I can control my camera settings from the monitor easily without having to pull my camera off my shoulder. So good for the price. Screen is really bright and clear as well. I film outdoors on the go and have never had issues seeing the screen, not even remotely close to having difficulty in the brightest of scenarios.

Works great with the FX3
I went with this monitor for the ability to control my FX3 through the monitor. There are many different option menus to choose from. Touch focus works very well. They have vertical reference bars to help when shooting for social media. Getting setup can be a little confusing but there are plenty of videos on YouTube that helped me. It takes NPF batteries which have lasted me hours off a single charge. Definitely worth it overall.

Works on the Sony FX30
All the Feature work on the FX30 Camera including the Focus Tracking. I have connected this with Wifi and HDMI. You need to turn off HDMI Information transmitting and turn On control by PC. Also make sure it is on the 2.4 G. Excellect Value for the money and crips picture. Enjoy.

You get what you pay for
This was a great monitor for the price.I paired this with my Canon R5 to work as a cinema rig. It looked great and even the touch function was pretty decent. The graphic obviously was not the highest quality. But you can not compare a monitor like SmallHD that cost twice this and expect the same quality.I actually did not even really have a lot of problems for indoor use until I took this setup in Northern California for a couple days of outdoor filming. The monitor would get hot so quick and literally starts pressing random functions around the menu as if it was haunted or something. It was so consistently doing that for just a regular outside gig where even the R5 was working fine (and R5 has the heat issue) I had to take down the monitor. So if you are doing a lot of outside filming then I would definitely think about that. I genuinely could not make the most of out of this for outdoor filming.

Bright Monitor with pro level build, UI and camera control could be improved.
I am a professional videographer with 90% of my work being run n gun, so a solid, bright, monitor is a requirement. I'm reviewing this monitor paired with a Canon C70.First off, the good:- Super bright, I'm able to shoot in full sun EASILY with this monitor. Heads and shoulders above the built in C70 screen. I've never actually used a monitor that's this bright before.- The build quality is quite good, especially for this price range. Aluminum body, super nice glass screen, all connections are super solid. I'm really impressed with the quality for price on this model.- The camera control is really cool. For the C70 it runs into the USB-C, and I've really only used it for the record function. Which works great, with a slight delay. It will add a red rectangle around the image when recording (displays no matter how you start recording). This is a HUGE benefit to my workflow on the camera, especially in situations where I don't want to use the tally light. Setting it up to work for camera control took all of 2 minutes.- On low the built in fan is totally silent. I'm not sure when, if ever, you'd need to use the high setting, but that does get very loud. I suspect you could turn it up between takes if needed. And, the bad:- The UI is a bit clunky. It's more than usable, but you'll need to read over the manual basics a few times to remember what direction to swipe and where to find all the functions. This isn't really something you need to get into in the field, so it's not of much concern to me, but I think Portkeys will want to work on refining this as firmware updates are released.- The camera control for the C70 is only partially functional. I have not been able to get WB, Iris, Shutter Speed, or focus to work at all via the monitor. These functions are all listed as being functional within the manual. In some cases trying to adjust them makes the C70 itself freeze, and I was only able to reset by removing the battery. Thankfully, I just don't use that screen while working, and I'm still able to use "rec" function successfully in every situation. Which is really all I want.- The mount is 1/4" with locating pins. I would have loved to have seen a 3/8" arri mount to expand the mounting options. As it is rigging this takes an extra part or two. This is exasperated by the lack of really any cages for this monitor. My wishlist:- The monitor is great as a standard monitor, but I'd love some functionality issues to be addressed in firmware updates. Primarily the camera control and menu function.- I'd LOVE touch to focus functionality on this monitor for the C70, but I know that will probably never happen due to Canon's remote support.- I'd love a screen mode that is just the "rec" button functionality. No other buttons. In summary, this is a great monitor with the possibility to be even better with a handful of firmware updates.

Does not work with Canon 80D
I purchased the LH5P because the listing says that it is compatible with the Canon 80D, but I could never get it to work with it, not even show an image from my camera (via HTMI cable), let alone control the camera via the control cable. I carefully read the entire user manual but it had zero instructions about how to use this with Canon cameras. I repeatedly asked the seller for help but was only told to use an HDMI cable which I already did but that did not work. My followup questions were ignored. This unit may work with the BMPCC or other brands but not with the Canon 80D, as far as I can tell. I have no choice but to return it and get something else.

Perfect brightness level for sunny days!
The media could not be loaded. I was looking for a very bright monitor. I shoot in Florida in summer days and it's exactly what I needed. It also has all the other options one would need to monitor any shoot. Touch screen and being able to control my Sony camara a7iv is also a big plus.

It did not turn on/Defective
I had to send it back because it never turned on, it’s sad because I really needed a touch tracking monitor for my Sony a7 IV!Wish it would’ve worked out perfectly, hopefully they will send me a free one! Lol
