Below expectations
It felt like the product went bad before reaching my door. Smell and texture were bad.

This shampoo does a very good job at getting your hair clean..no matter how many days it's been since the last washing. It doesn't have a "nice" smell but when you look at the main featured ingredients, you get why. I don't mind this at all, since I'll just pair it with a nice smelling conditioner. Great price too!

I switched to Avalon Organics and tried this conditioner after learning about the use of formaldehyde (DMDM) in my previous conditioner of choice under the OGX brand. I chose this conditioner because cosmetic ingredient analysis websites show it has no harmful ingredients. The pros are this smells great, leaves my hair feeling fresh and clean. The cons are that this is less thick than conditioner I'm used to, so it's more on the liquidy side. This takes a little getting used to but overall I'd recommend it.

I bought the shampoo from Waitrose - it soothed my scalp immediately and is nice and refreshing - didn't by the conditioner at the time as I wanted to see what the shampoo was like. Thought I would try the conditioner via Amazon. Conditioner is good too although I put too much on my hair. Smell is lovely - similar to Loccitane products. Will try the Lavender next.
