Chinese dishes love a splash of this.
I've used many brands of Shaoxing wine for almost all my asian cooking dishes. First time I bought/used Starry brand and must say very pleased. Very nice aroma and taste, certainly brings out the best in many chinese dishes, especially used as a marinade, or a small splash in rice dishes, chop sueys, chow meins etc. Would certainly recommend this brand/product, and will purchase again. Thank you.

Absolutely fantastic!
Don't know how I have ever cooked without it! I've not found an oriental dish yet that this hasn't improved and now every time I open cupboard I can smell it and it's stunning. I bought this for a specific recipe and was gobsmacked at how good it was and how much difference it made. You only need a very small amount of this, but WOW! I am now adding it to other recipes that don't ask for it, generally only about a tablespoon or less, and the difference is AMAZING. Most also require toasted sesame oil as well, and together they are a super team! Will DEFINITELY be buying another bottle when this one runs out!

Worth the price!
I got this as I wanted to get the Chinese takeaway flavour to my fried rice and honestly I'm so happy I did! It DOES add that flavour, I use 2 cap fulls in my fried rice and add it in at the very end, while the hob is on very high and it tastes beautiful. Fried rice just isn't the same without it anymore! I've had it for a few months now, so while you may think it's pricey (and it is), it's definitely worth it!
