I was really skeptical over if this product would work or not - it seemed like some hippie bogus that people who don't realize they still stink would wear. I used to wear standard drugstore deodorant, but found it was adding an odd smell to my pits. Then, I tried natural deodorant, but found it didn't work nearly as well and made me seemingly smell more. Eventually, I stopped using deodorant entirely and found I actually smelled less than ever before - as long as I showered once a day and didn't sweat buckets, I really had no odor. Even when I did sweat, I could smell myself but anyone I asked said they couldn't smell me (even my painfully honest best friend who would absolutely let me know if I reeked). All of that boiled down to present day. I'm living in a hot State where I'm sweating more often. That, mixed with being freshly postpartum, I'm noticing odor sooner than I normally would. My husband swears I don't smell, but I decided to find something that might help. I knew standard and natural deodorants weren't the way for me, so I searched and eventually found this product. It's supposed to work by applying to cleaned armpits, and the salt stick naturally inhibits the growth of the bacteria that smells in your underarms. It WILL NOT WORK IF YOU HAVE DIRTY PITS! The whole point is starting with a clean, fresh slate and avoiding the stinky bacteria to begin with; not trying to remedy it with extra product like a traditional deodorant. So, I gave myself a good scrub in the shower, lathered my pits for about a minute each, rinsed, and dried. Then I wet the stick (seems to be controversial from other reviews, I think most people want their skin wet rather than the stick, but this worked better for me) and gave a good slather of the product on my underarms. I kept my arms in the air and twisted my body a few times to have them air-dry faster. After that, I was set. No stains on my clothes, no weird smell, and after a full day of wear I had NO ODOR! I couldn't believe it I've used it for a few days now with the same results. This product definitely works, it's easy to use, and it lasts all day as long as it was applied correctly from the start A word of advice: if you use it out of the shower and find your pits still smell, you didn't clean your pits properly. Most people don't scrub their underarms enough, they just put some soap on them quickly and let the water take the suds away. You gotta scrub them things!

After years of using this product it’s time to write a review. Buy it! Here are a few tips: 1. When transitioning from regular deodorant to thai deodorant it may take your body a few days to adjust. I found that my body was purging the old deodorant for close to a week before this stuff really was successful. 2. Make sure you are clean! I shower atleast once a day and put the thai deodorant on within 5 minutes of getting out of the shower. I dry myself first, run the stick under water before applying. (I rinse it off between armpits but I don’t know if that’s necessary). 3. It works!! Trust the process and let your body adjust. I can go atleast a full day, even if I’ve been outside (I live in south Florida), workout, run errands, whatever and this stuff will still mask bad odors. I’m not always “scentless” but may not smell fresh out the shower, but it definitely does the job better than regular deodorant which usually makes me smell like a combo of bad odor mixed with weird fruity deodorant scents. lol 4. As a long term user, maybe 5 years, definitely try it! It lasts forever so you save money, and it’s better for you with only one natural ingredient!

What I love most is how natural and simple it is. There’s no strong fragrance, no sticky residue, and it feels super lightweight on the skin. It goes on smoothly after a shower and dries quickly, leaving no marks on clothes. Even though it’s so minimal, it works incredibly well. It keeps odor under control all day, even during workouts or long days out. I also noticed it’s much gentler on my skin compared to traditional deodorants—no irritation at all. Another huge plus is how long it lasts. Since it’s a solid crystal, you barely use any each time, so it feels like it will last forever, making it a great value.

Hands down the best deodorant I’ve ever used! Does not irritate my skin. Works exceptionally well on eliminating body odor. This is not an antiperspirant, so don’t expect it to stop you from sweating! Make sure you wet the bar before applying it, and I usually rub it in each pit for about 5 seconds. That will work for 24 hours on me. Love this stuff!

I bought these Thai Deodorant Stones out of curiosity, without high expectations, but I’ve been genuinely impressed by their effectiveness against odor. After about three weeks of daily use, they have completely replaced my regular deodorant for odor control. It’s important to note that this product is not an antiperspirant. It does not reduce sweating and doesn’t keep the armpits dry. However, when it comes to preventing bad odors, it works perfectly. The stones are totally natural, fragrance-free, and provide excellent odor protection throughout the day without irritation or residue. What I like: Perfect odor control 100% natural solution No irritation or sticky feeling Very effective despite no fragrance What could be improved: More explanation on how to use it, how it works, and how long one stone lasts A light fragrance option could be a nice addition for those who want scent Overall, this is an excellent natural deodorant alternative if your main concern is odor rather than sweat. Edited: I am removing one star after weeks of use. Irritation under my armpits is certainly due to a skin reaction to this product.
