It worked perfectly..

Bought these because I needed a 12" deep shelf and these were reasonably priced. There is a lip in the front facing down, so be aware that you lose a little space from the shelf you put beneath it. However, the lip does make the shelf more rigid which is a good thing.

The color is dark gray and not pure black. It will stand out on a black rack cabinet. I could have just painted them black but didn't have time to do so.

I have put together many server racks and have never seen shelf quality this poor. Both shelves were bent and did not align with two different cabinets. The finish is coming off in several places on one of them. This is an incredibly poor product. They look like they came out of a garbage can.

Ive ordered two of these now. Some of them come a little bent and can be bent back into shape. They're packaged well and they're a good price.

Don't put a ton of weight on these, the welds might break, I stuck a Roku Ultra, two Blackmagic SDI Convertors, a DI Box and a small HDMI Switch on it and it did the trick.

These work well. They are only 1U, so you can fit them in any rack. They also are only about 10 inches deep, so unless it is a really shallow rack, they'll fit there too. The slots in the shelf work for ventilation, but can also be used to strap down wiring or devices. Screwed it in and it makes a really sturdy shelf, no flex or bending.
