Bought this for little projects, like hemming jeans. Great job on denim, medium thickness. Snagged going over the seem, but I skipped that the second time around and worded like a dream. Very easy to use. I would consider myself a more experienced sewer, but def not a pro.

I bought this sewing machine for my 7.5 granddaughter for Christmas. Unfortunately she wasn't able to start using it until February-March . The foot peddle didn't work at all , very disappointing . However , she was continued using it but not easy to guide the fabric and at the same time turn the on/off switch , off . After 2-3 sewing sessions it stopped completely ! Her Mom had the warranty and submitted the complaint , along with her review but today hasn't heard from anyone . Totally unsatisfactory :(Is there any way we can get a refund or a replacement ? Would not recommend !.

I ordered this so I can make keepsake bears of my babies clothes and honestly I expected something more flimsy but was pleasantly surprised to feel how sturdy this machine is, you can’t beat it for the price. It’s small enough to sit on a shelf but big enough and weighted to keep it from moving while I sew. It’s definitely compact and portable. I’m giving it one less star because of the power cord and foot pedal cord being relatively short.

It's okay. So far it's doing what it's supposed to do. Easy setup. It's just the sewing part that's difficult since I'm a lefty, so I have to readjust/position it in a way that would be comfortable for me and I'm more used to hand sewing the fabrics.
