Solid planter...even better customer support.
First off, this is the second of these items I have bought. The first was a week ago. They say it can be assembled by one person in 45 mins...my experience was that it took about 20-30 mins longer than that...but I was being careful. Both times the item arrived with some damage to the packing box but none to planter itself...so they are well packaged. The assembly instructions were pretty clear. There are a lot of small pieces...dozens of wing nuts, bolts, and washers. The first planter I purchased was perfect...exactly the right number of wing nuts and bolts and a few extra washers. The second time they were a wing nut short. I was very careful opening the fittings and immediately placed each type into a small bowl, so I know I didn't lose one. I contacted the vendor via the chat function of their help website, within a minute I was switched from AI to a human who quickly and efficiently gave me the help I needed and the planter was finished with a replacement wing nut the next day. The speed and efficiency of the customer support are why I decided to give them 5 stars despite the one missing wing nut.So, I now have two of these end-to-end along the side of a pathway. They look great...they're filled with compost and topsoil and are very solid. They work just as they should and I am very happy with the purchase. The solid product, pricing, and excellent customer support mean that I would definitely be comfortable buying from this vendor again.

Cannot wait to harvest my new vegi bed!
It works perfectly to keep my vegetables out of the dog range! The hay ring helps keep them out, and the taller sides mean they cannot help me "water"! Now it is dog, weed-eater, and mower-proof! It might even be safe from the grandkids!!! It was not hard to put together, but I wish I had thought about how big it was before I started! For future reference, put it together near where you will use it, as it is bulky to move alone. It would have been no big deal if I had another set of hands, as it is not heavy but just awkward to move.

Protective plastic is a nightmare to remove
Overall, the bed looks nice. It came with a few scratches on the inside, but that was not an issue. My huge complaint is the protective plastic they applied. I purchased the 6x3 bed, and it took me over 3 hours to remove the protective plastic. I tried every way to remove it, horizontal, vertical, but neither worked any better than the other. The plastic was applied in sections, so if you were ever lucky enough to "get a run" on a piece, it would only go so far. Removal also left behind adhesive residue. I have another brand of raised bed and the plastic was all in one sheet and did not leave behind any residue. Unfortunately, that experience will factor into purchasing another Best Choice bed.Once you get past the frustration of the plastic removal, the bed itself is decent quality and is relatively easy to put together. More detailed instructions would be nice, but since I had another raised bed I knew what to do. My biggest concern is the material of the hardware (bolts and wingnuts.) It will be interesting how long they last.Would I purchase this bed again? Maybe, especially if the manufacturer addresses the protective plastic issue.

Awesome 6x3x2 Taupe beds for square foot gardening
I really love these! I bought two 6x3x2 taupe beds which do require a lot of soil to fill, but I applied layers of cardboard to the bottom, dried up logs/twigs then put on some good raised bed soil to top them off. They weren't that hard to build, but definitely much better to have a second person to stabilize things. You use screws with butterfly backs to lock everything in place so not anything overly complicated. The only thing I noticed was the rubber edge gaskets don't really stay in place well so I took them off, but that isn't anything problematic as the edges are smooth, just the connections between the metal sheets might be a little pokey. Maybe they can be glued on but I personally really don't need them. The metal is thick enough to hold its shape and the color is a nice neutral taupe that blends in nicely with the rest of the yard. For the price, it's a great value and worth it for the long term vs building ones out of wood that will cost around the same. I'll be practicing square foot gardening with these so I'm stoked to get them planted!

Five stars if you read this review
I give it five stars if you read this review. We bought two of these beds and they are very nice looking but kind of a pain to put together. I think of the instructions had a few more details nobody would have the problem we had. The first thing that happened is we open the box and we were missing 80 washers. We decided to get the other bed and get the 80 washers and then call the company and get what was missing. In the other box we had a different set of instructions that did not call for washers and there were not washers in the Box, looking at the first box I noticed that washers would not have worked with this product so I got instructions for a different product. Problem solved so we put the first bed together. Please note there are holes in the bottom of the four corner brackets that have to go on the bottom for the stakes. We got two of the corners correct had to take it apart and do it correctly. It would have been so easy just to remind you in the instructions to do this. There is also a finished side that has a film on it that dictates the outside of the planter box we did not notice this at first and had to redo another side. Once we figured out our mistakes the bed went together very easily a little time consuming and the second bed was three times as fast. We were leaving the screws a little loose thinking it would be easier to put together I would go ahead and tighten them all as you go. Well that's my story I hope it helps out some folks the beds are really nice and they look great and I would buy them again!
