Can i spray it anywhere else besides the drains

Of course you can. We have drain flies in the rim of our toilet that are almost gone thanks to this stuff. Although a water and bleach solution kills the adults, it doesn't usually kill the eggs, or the area they're breeding in. I was told they could be in the front part of the rim where they would be hard to reach. I bought a can of this (same stuff that pest control people use), sprayed it in all the holes under the rim where the water comes out when you flush - I sprayed alot so it would spread out - then wrapped the toilet bowl in saran wrap and didn't flush for 24 hours (so any live ones, if any, would be contained). We saw none for a couple of days, then saw 2 dead ones in the toilet. I sprayed a second time, we didn't see any again for a couple of days, then saw one dead in the toilet. So I will spray again and hopefully there will be none this time. It says it doesn't kill them, but the 3 we saw after spraying were dead, so I think it does. But it's the eggs you need to kill so no new ones can hatch. And it isn't that difficult to spray inside all the rim holes. I hold a mirror inside the toilet bowl so I can see where the holes are, but honestly, the red straw that's attached to the can? If you just move that along under the rim, it will stop when it hits a hole, and then you simply give it a good spray for several seconds, and move onto the next one. Keep in mind the holes go all the way around the rim, so use the mirror to check and make sure you hit all of them. After the first time, i can pretty much do it in just a few minutes now. The life cycle of these things is up to 24 days, so it's not unusual to continue to see adults here and there as they slowly die off. Which I think is the problem with those who say it doesn't work - it most certainly does. I would suggest keeping saran wrap tightly over the toilet bowl and not using it at all if you have a second bath to use while treating them. It leaves a residue even when it's flushed so it will still work if you have to use the toilet, but I would spray it at night before bed so it's not used during all those hours.

Since this does not kill, can anyone recommend a spray that does kill? i have the advion gel and gentrol point source igr discs, want something else

maxforce magnum roach bait .. but you don't need this gentrol if you are already using the gentrol discs . the best products for roaches are the advion roach bait and the maxforce magnum roach bait and the gentrol point source igr discs ... nothing else is needed. you can NOT use any sprays with the bait ... it will ruin the bait unless you use a non repellent spray like phantom .

We have drain fly worms in the cracks of the shower. Will this work?

Sposari, Yes and no. Yes in that it will will "eventually" work by preventing developing stages from becoming reproducing adults. But this will take time (could be a few weeks). And since it will not affect the active adults, you will still see activity for awhile. For many users, this is a drawback. The advantage of a product like this is that it can last a lot longer compared to traditional insecticides. But in most wet areas like a sink, shower or drain, this advantage is lost and when you combine this with the lack of control for active adults, it generally means you'll be better served using something like Gentrol Complete. Their new Gentrol Complete contains the growth regulator like this Gentrol but it also contains an adulticide resulting in faster results and less activity almost immediately. Does this product kill & control roaches?

Doesn't actually "kill" bugs (including roaches. It's a hormone that tricks the females into eating, rather than mating.......eventually, there's none left. This stuff is non-toxic, and can be used around food areas. Check the label for the directions to be sure it applies to roaches though.

Our Exterminator (Pest Control company) recommended this product to arrest the reproductive cycle of clothing moths that were eating our wool carpets. It would be equally effective on fleas. Used in combination with pesticides, which kill live insects, Gentrol stops the development of larvae that may have taken up residence in your carpets. Kills the bugs dead but use often

This is the beast for killing roaches if you have an infestation and you don’t know where they are coming from spray this is everywhere and they are gone! I used the whole can under my sink and near my appliances because the heat tracts the bugs after a month of continuous spraying they were gone but you have to continue to treat as winter brings them back they find they’re way I. Through radiators and cracks. This stops them from reproducing and it works along with other measures like glue traps no strong smell comes with adapter straw to fit in crevices and tiny spaces. Works really well.

Probaly user error. Did not work great for me.

It seemed to wrok Okay not any better than raid.. It did not last a long time , for the price. But cant knock it, It may have worked partially.

Kill bugs dead

When applying Gentrol you apply to base boards, around commodes, threshold, under kitchen sink pipes, and bathroom pipes. Quality is not to bad. Value is good. To get maximum Effectiveness sanitize home first, very easy to use. Order is low(smell).

Didn’t See Much Improvement After Use

Tried this product to control pests, but unfortunately, it didn’t seem to make much of a difference. I followed the instructions carefully, but the insect problem continued. Was expecting better results.
