Hi, these work great. I use filtered water in my machines. You get a lot longer life out of them. I have a reverse osmosis filter built into the kitchen. I used to use a pitcher with a filter when I didn't. I also put those little fish with the pebbles in them that absorb the minerals in the water. If you do this method, the filters will last a lot longer, your machine will stay cleaner, and you won't have to buy as many filters or clean all the mineral build up out of the machine nearly as much.

These filters work and fit perfectly in the Honeywell humidifier.And I believe that they put moisture into the air than the factory Honeywell filters. Also I can say that they are easier to clean, and more durable, at a much lower price.

I use these on a Honeywell-branded humidifier and they work fine, so long as you rotate them on a fairly regular basis. Given how nasty they get over time - 4-6 weeks - it's clear they are doing an effective job of filtering out the junk in our hard water. This is my second season buying them and I see no reason to stop.

I live in a 1400 sq. ft. apartment in upstate New York where winters are long, so the heat is on for months. Without a humidifier my skin is dry and sleeping is difficult as my nose often plugs up. A humidifier fixes both problems, but the hard water in my area clogs filters so frequent replacement is necessary. I have used these replacement filters for two years. They are simple and fast to install, work wonderfully (as evidenced by the large amount of water used by the humidifier) and last until built-up mineral scale reduces their efficiency. It is easy to tell when they need replacing, the amount of water used each day gradually decreases. When it does and I change the filter, the old one is always heavily coated with white mineral deposits, which limit air flow and the surface of the filter exposed. No filter could improve on this, the mineral scale will clog anything.

I’ve been using this for a year now and it works just as good as the name brand filters. Some tricks I’ve learned with our hard water- flip the filter once a day. Once a week I soak it in a pan with water and a few splashes of vinegar a while then rinse. This extends it 1 more week. I throw away after 2 weeks.

I have a Honeywell top fill cool moisture humidifier that requires a wicking filter to capture minerals. These filters are easy to use and slip right into place. I never have that white dust from minerals. I’m not sure why it’s important to soak the filter before slipping it into place, but I do it. Maybe it loosens and runs off any dust before inserting the filter, maybe it just helps the filter be more pliable when inserting. I use my humidifier every night, and clean it every week, so I keep these filters in my subscribe and save so I don’t run out.
