Nippon Kodo - Ceramic Incense Burner - Rabbit

First one ordered arrived damaged/broken due to the way it was packaged, but Amazon Customer Service was extremely helpful, and the replacement arrived in perfect condition. This burner uses BACKFLOW incense CONES. Adorable!

This bunny rabbit incense burner is pricey but super adorable. I use it with short Japanese incense sticks , and so far it has worked well. Just the bottom stand portion works with longer sticks as well. Great as functional decoration

This is a really nice little incense burner, looks great on the mantle with its very serene expression. This takes cone incense, which is harder to find than stick incense. Sometimes the cones don't burn down all the way, which makes me wonder if enough air really flows through the burner.

This is the cutest little thing. It literally puts a smile on my face, so precious! It is designed for the cone incense not the sticks. I ordered the Jembrana multipack and it’s a Devine combination!

This is the only cone burner I've found with an incense stand that allows the cone to burn all the way to the bottom. My second photo shows a cone that has become ash-- not a bit of unused fragrance. The little stand is spiked so the cone gets good airflow under it as it burns. Also, the base that the rabbit sits on is hollow with holes underneath as well as on top, allowing good airflow throughout the rabbit chamber. The stand is able to accommodate stick incense as well as cones, either without the rabbit over it or after breaking the stick to a suitable height. Shoyeido Zen Series with their thicker sticks fit the hole almost perfectly, as seen in my 5th photo. Standard size sticks might lean a bit, but stay upright as well as they do in any of my other incense holders.

This beautiful little rabbit makes me smile every day. Fine craftsmanship, well packed, and such peaceful personality. Best purchase I’ve made in ages. Highly recommend.

So cute! This little guy was carefully packaged and is just as described. There's a hole at the back of his head where the smoke comes out, and when you lift him off hi stand, there is a little spiky cone holder that you can remove and clean off. I highly recommend.

ok so I would not say this incense burner works great, but it is so beautiful I love seeing it on my nightstand and I love it so much.
