Yes it comes with a variety of spacers that can be put under the pedal to elevate it. (Maximum an inch if you stack them all together probably). The sticker pad used to hold it in place will also pull it forward a bit. If you need more space I'd recommend a different mod that changes the location of your pedal.

This pedal is designed to extend to the left, closer to the brake pedal. It's meant for vehicles with manual transmissions to perform heel and toe technique easier. That's when you press both brake pedal and the gas pedal at the same time with one foot while using the other foot to disengage clutch and downshift a gearbox. The engine revs up to meet the higher rpm of the lower gear and there is no jerking when clutch pedal is released. You would normally do that shortly before entering a turn. You state that ford had placed gas pedal to far left (hope you didn't mean far right). That means closer to brake pedal. Installing this pedal will create a hazard. In an extreme situation you are likely to hit the gas pedal with a part of your foot along with the brake pedal, thus negatively affecting the stopping distance. I personally would advise not to install this pedal in any vehicle with auto transmission. The distances between brake and gas pedals are very carefully selected by engineers to reduce reaction time on one had, and to avoid the situation I explain above on the other. If you have just gotten f150, it's a great vehicle, just give it some time to get used to the pedals and stay safe.

Q: will this fit a 2015 mustang GT?

The pedal is designed to fit any car and any model with the 2 separated mounting brackets. I believe you should have no problem to get it to fit your Mustang GT.
