Towel Rail

The towel rail was bought to replace a rail with suckers that went onto granite bathroom tiles. In warmer temperatures it would fall off the wall. In colder temperatures it stayed on so I'm guessing it's something to do with temperature affecting the suction cups. Drilling through these tiles is a nightmare, so I went for this rail which self glues. I was a bit sceptical that the glue would hold it securely but for the price worth a try. I cleaned the tiles with methylated spirit before mounting the rail then fixing was simple. It's been there for about four weeks through wildy varying temperatures and it's rock solid. The brushed aluminium looks really nice, feels solid and good quality. The little hooks at either end are quite useful. I can't think of any negatives so five stars from me.

The double towel rail looks very good, it’s well made, the rails spin so the towels are easy to remove. The backing has very strong adhesive - the rail was stuck onto our tiled wall and has been in daily use for about a month showing no sign of coming loose. Very pleased and would definitely buy again.

Beautiful and easy to install. I've only given 4 stars because I've not had it for more than a few days, so can't comment on the durability yet.

I was a little sceptical with a 'self-adhesive' towel rail, but this one is excellent, mega easy to install (on tiles) and once applied, is most certainly stuck! Holds our two bath sheets (which are thick and fairly heavy) plus our hand towels on the hooks, highly recommended.

Great towel rail, very practical and looks good. Very strong adhesive but if it isn't quite on right, with patience it can be removed with a hair dryer and then replaced correctly.

It’s a really solid rail but the instructions are in German only - fortunately we think we managed to work out most of them. Only time will tell if we made a blunder!

Stuck this on smooth bathroom tile, and it lasted roughly a year. Unfortunately during a spell of hot weather, the adhesive failed and it fell off. Sticking it back up doesn't work. Always a bit of a problem with these stick on things. It looks decent enough while it's up, although I wasn't a fan of the way the bars aren't attached to the rest of it - they're just slotted into holes in each stick on support, so the whole thing tends to fall apart if you're not careful when putting it up at first.

When I opened the package and saw how the glue was, I really thought it was not going to work, especially on smooth tiles. After applying the glue and stabilizing it with the stickers that come with it, the strength is incredible. Stays put, holds two big towels without a problem and does what it promises!
