Great value and of course overnight shipping was highly appreciated!
Worked great for my VW GTI. Needed a set that could rotate the piston as it was pushing it back for the rear calipers that double as the handbrake to work. This filled the bill just fine. Overnight shipping saved my bacon only set my schedull back for half a day or so. 1/3rd the price of the equivalent set of same quality in my local parts store. Note that the set comes with two presses, one for RH (right rotation) and one for LH. Depending on your car brand and model, you might need only one of the two. My VW only needed the RH for both driver's and passenger's sides.

Is good.
Cheap, easy, works well! Can’t recommend it enough to anyone from a beginner to a pro, has every attachment I need for any side jobs I take one. Definitely worth the money.

Don’t rent this tool, buy it!
It’s crazy to think that places like autozone and oreilly charge a $75 rental fee for their equipment. Paid $25 for this and worked great! Excellent value, very durable, easy to use. I wish I bought it in red, but I needed one delivered in 3 hours. So blue it is!

Solid, versatile brake caliper tool with thoughtful features
This brake caliper compression tool is a great value for the money. It’s solidly built and feels durable enough for repeated use. It includes lots of options for compressing different brake caliper designs, which makes it versatile and useful across multiple vehicles. One feature I really like is the hooks for hanging the calipers, so you’re not stressing or twisting the brake lines during a job. That’s a small detail that makes a big difference. Overall, it’s well made, easy to use, and very practical — a great addition to any DIY or home garage setup.

Solid set
Disc brake caliper piston tool review. I've now had this set for a few years. Has a ton of discs for various makes and models. The teeth of the discs do their job and grip the piston dimples very well. The caliper hooks are good. They hold well. The retractor/compressor tool is solid. If you use it normally and don't try to compress a stuck piston, or a reverse piston, you shouldn't be breaking it. I laminated the included chart that identifies the discs and what vehicles they are for. The gloves were fine, had a but of a smell to them, but I wear nitrile gloves normally so I didn't actually use them. The case is good. It's blow molded, so one day I'm sure it will fail, but in the mean time, it holds all the parts in pretty well. My experiences with similar kits is using the ones off the tool truck$$$ and the parts store tool rental version. The tool truck is a bit more robust, but way more expensive. The parts store rental is similar quality, but cannot begin to compare to the variety of attachments or that this kit has both clockwise and counter clockwise piston detractors. The kit came with a cosmoline/oil coating on all the parts, and so far with very basic maintenance/ wipedown after use, has not rusted. All in all I highly recommend this kit for a DIYer it's a 10/10 must buy. An apprentice tech or someone not looking to blow the whole paycheck on the truck, it works and will pay for itself.

Definitely a timesaver
I was preparing to do a rear brake job on my 2017 Toyota Corolla SE. I watched a few videos online and noticed the caliper piston would need to be rotated (not just pushed) back into position. I saw a video where someone pushed/rotated it using a pair of needle nose pliers. I am no stranger to brake jobs, so I debated on whether I needed this tool, but did not want to get the calipers disassembled only to discover I needed it. Well, I am glad I bought it. When I had the caliper apart, I tried first using the needle nose plier method that I had seen online. Absolute No Go. I couldn't exert enough downward force and keep the pliers in place to rotate the piston. The pliers would skid off, every time. This kit was so easy to use. There aren't any instructions that come with it, but look up a few videos online on how to use it and it should be pretty simple for you to pick up. The kit comes with a right hand and left hand tool, depending on which way you have to rotate your piston. For my corolla, both driver and passenger side caliper pistons rotated clockwise (RH). Just a tip from me, once you use the hand crank to rotate it, you will need to keep adjusting the part that adjusts the backing plate to the caliper. This is so you will maintain your gains as you push the caliper back into place. Once the caliper will not depress any further, rotate the piece that holds the backing plate the opposite way to remove the tool from the caliper. Overall the kit appears to be well made and worth the money I paid for it. The case holding the kit was a little banged up, presumably from the shipping/freight companies, but all the pieces are intact and fit where they are supposed to. Would buy this again if I needed to, but hopefully this will last a long time.
