It's a little greasy. But when you buff the excess off its just sheen and makes cleanups very easy. I use a microfiber cloth to Polish. When I get home I'll post the product specifications.

Q: Just to confirm - is this product for the Miele glass cooktop? Description says "stainless steel only" - which is it?

It's both, this is the easiest and streak free cleaner I ha e ever used, wet a micro towel 12 drops of the liquid and wipe down you appliance, get another towel warm water ring it out and just wipe, your done

Q: Is this the correct product for cleaning the outside of the Miele fridge/freezer - stainless steel?

i don't think so. I recently purchased directly from Miele care product for stainless steel that looks diffrent. I would suggest that you log to www.mieleusa.com and verify their recommended product.
