We love the water wow books, they're so easy to use. My nephew (now 6) used to love them and still occasionally will use them. Now my 2 year old niece loves to use them. Great for travel and use at home. Not messy, the pens don't leak. And the reusable factor makes this an ideal gift and worth the money. We've brought them along for road trips and on airplanes. They're also educational. Besides naming/ discussing everything in the pictures, there's usually a search and find option too. Highly recommend!

This was a big hit with both my granddaughter and my daughter!! Art with no mess, easy to travel with, it’s just water!! Highly recommend it to other grandparents out there! 10 out of 10!!! Great entertaining, easy to use!

This is a great little craft! I love all of Melissa & Doug items and this water pen art is the same high quality that all of their other products are. There are four different 'pads' and a refillable water brush. When you paint on the pad, more of the picture is exposed. There is a search & find list on the back of each pad that a child can uncover as they 'paint' with water! The instructions and games are in five different languages, besides English. After a few minutes, the uncovered areas dry up and disappear - like disappearing ink! The pads are thick with a sturdy spiral binding to keep them together. There's also a place to store the pen. This would make a wonderful stocking stuffer, entertainment on a trip, or gift. Or as something fun to do at DiDi's house! You'll gets multiple uses out of it and kids can take turns using it without it ever being completed. It's like starting over every time! The price is awesome and I recommend it.

As usual, Melissa and Doug has delivered a high quality product that keeps my 2.5 year old engaged. The water wow books are some of our favorite ways to pass time in the car, at a restaurant or anywhere I don’t want to have to worry about mess. My daughter loves will do them over and over and has requested this cute princess one multiple times a day since it arrived.

I bought these for my granddaughters to have something to keep them busy while visiting this summer. They were 2 and 5 at the time and loved them. Just fill the pen with water and off they go. No mess to clean up. The pages dried fairly quickly so could be reused again and again. I don't know how long they would hold up as we only used them for about a week but in that time they held up fine and had a lot of use. It was definitely worth the money even to only use them for a week.

It’s rare that an activity like this can be passed down through generations but these Water Wow books have survived two kids (nearly ten years) and are being passed on to a new cousin. I suspect these will make it another few decades. There’s a container attached that holds the brush but of course, we lost it once in a while. So you can use a bowl of water with a regular clean paintbrush, qtip, or even just a finger. Kids like the novelty of doing it in different ways. After they’re done with applying the water- when they’re young they’ll just color it in and when they’re older they’ll solve the maze - there is a seek and find with objects in the picture. The seek and find is excellent for learning to read numbers and learning to count. These are great for travel because there are no small parts that are easy to lose (which tend to roll to the floor in a car or on an airplane and are difficult to find again), all the drawings and the brush are attached together. Also, because it makes no mess like crayons or markers. This is why I take these to restaurants or family’s house if I need an activity for the kids, they won’t mark up a tablecloth or furniture accidentally. I use Crayola color wonder markers for the same reason but these books leave even less of a trace, there’s zero cleanup, and it’s all self-contained.

Loved this book! Purchased for my almost 2 & 4 year old as we were headed to Mexico and I was searching for plane safe entertainment with "no mess" for mommy :) This is the coolest toy! It is a great travel size flip book (note that the top cardboard "hanging hole" area pictured is fixed to the book itself so you can either cut it off with scissors or leave it. There are white pages inside each book (thick cardboard so great against toddler's hands). With the included water brush pen (twists apart into two pieces where you fill one end with water and re-twist to close), the kids will paint the page with the water brush pen and magically see colors appear on the page. The water "washes away" the white film to reveal the pre-set colored picture underneath. What is so cool is that after about 5 minutes, the water dries and the color fades back into the clean white coloring page. My girls would paint one page, then flip to the next, then go back to see the first was already dried and ready to paint again. The only negative piece was with the water brush/pen- you should drain all the water when not in use otherwise it can leak onto the pages. Since its mostly a cardboard material book, if it leaks, like mind did, it can cause water damage/crinkling. Also the pen has a little plastic storage lid built into the cover. My 2 year old immediately ripped off the lid that holds the pen inside :( So I have to keep re-taping the lid back onto the cover to keep the pen inside the storage area. Otherwise, this is really an awesome product that will keep your kiddos entertained for a variety of situations- restaurants, car trips, plane rides, etc.

Es un gran "Juguete". Mi niña lo tiene desde hace ya dos años y no pierde el interés en él. Todo niño que se lo ha visto lo quiere. Es una pasada ver la página en blanco y que al pasar el pincel magico (lleno de agua) se revelen los maravillosos dibujos y todos sus detalles y colores. Tenemos el de la Granja y éste. Un gran acierto y apto para jugar en cualquier ocasión.

Questo piccolo libricino è l'ennesimo di una lunga serie già acquistata ed è perfetto per bimbi a partire dai 2 anni, fino a circa 4. Per quanto bimbi più grandi lo trovino comunque divertente, sono dotati di una manualità tale da rendere la sfida di colorare le pagine troppo semplice per le loro capacità. Il libricino è composto da 4 o 5 pagine dove sono presenti dei disegni in bianco e nero che, una volta che vengono bagnati tramite l'apposita penna in dotazione, dopo averla riempita d'acqua, si colorano, rivelando nella parti bianche moltissimi altri elementi del disegno che non era possibile vedere quando ancora asciutto e in bianco e nero, stupendo i piccoli pittori. Libro perfetto per permettere ai bambini di sviluppare una motricità fine, poichè riusciranno a colorare i disegni con facilità solamente passando la penna ad acqua con delicatezza sui disegni. Consiglio a tutti di svuotare la penna dall'acqua ogni volta che è terminato l'utilizzo del libro, perchè in caso contrario la penna continuerà a gocciare, inzuppandolo e finendo per rovinarlo. Consigliatissimo!!!
