HammerHead® Solid Metal Shower Arm and Flange - 7.5 Inch 304 Stainless Steel Extension Pipe - Universal Shower Head Arm with Flange and Locking Screw, Chrome

I did a bath/shower remodel and used all Hammerhead products for the Handheld Shower Head, Shower Arm, Shower Valve/Trim Kit, and Tub Spout. All of the products are solid metal and superior quality. This review is for the HammerHead Solid Metal 7 Inch Shower Arm and Flange. All of the shower head components have a heavy, superior quality feel. Nothing is made of plastic. There's not a lot to say about a shower arm, but this one is solid and the flange is very clean and simple with a rubber o-ring in the collar that gives it a good fit onto the arm. The flange also has a rubber sealing ring where it contacts the wall. The whole design is simple but well thought out. I couldn't be happier with the quality and performance. The installation was very easy. If I do any more plumbing projects, HammerHead products are going to be my first choice for the components I use. They are rock solid.

Well Made Stainless Steel Shower Head, and the Pipe that connects to the water pipe behind the tile, and the Connector that holds the the Shower Head, and they include the Hose (but the factory Attached the Hose to the head, using the Wrong end (they put the Nut end) on the Shower Head) but it's easy to unsrew, and Screw on the other end of the Hose that is the Tapered End that slips into the Shower Head Holder. I bought the Black color, looks great!! Easy to Install, Good Directions, and includes the Pipe Tape, that you must use to prevent leaks, and Directions on the Way to wrap Tape (Counter Clockwise) which is the Opposite way you screw it on (Which is Clockwise). I think that the HammerHead product is the way to go!!

I hesitated spending an additional $39.95 for this 7.5" shower arm after purchasing a HammerHead shower head combo but am glad I made the investment. After only using inexpensive shower arms and extenders over many years it was shocking to feel the weight of this solidly built piece. While those other items each lasted for several years I expect this one will outlast me. It is a definite plus that it includes a flange and one that has a locking screw to keep it securely in place. My shower pipe is located fairly high to accomodate my 6'1" husband so the downward tilt did not adversely affect the shower head combo angle so we still enjoy the rainfall effect. I have been using HammerHead products for three months and do not hesitate to recommend this family-owned company as they are producing quality metal products for the price of the mostly plastic well known brands.

Very well made. The existing arm in my house had missing threads. It was thin and had not held up. HammerHead supplied a solid well made arm. It will out live the rest of my house! If you need one this is the one to get.

I finally found Hammerhead's shower arm because they offered the only one I could find that actually listed the angle of the bend. So, after cycling through several iterations of shower arms and shower heads, I ordered this one, and I'm so pleased. It's about the same price as a name brand one purchased from a big box store (which did not come with the plumbing hole cover... that was an astonishing $120 for the combo...smh). Hammerhead's product is superior to anything else we have tried. It is solid metal, feels super sturdy, fit our plumbing, and was easy to install. They actually offer solid warranties, which tells me they believe in their product. It did not come with tape. Water flow is great, as expected. We have not had any leaks. I was so impressed with this product and brand that I ended up ordering their shower head, which is awesome as well. If you are going to invest in new shower fixtures, do yourself a favor and check out this brand. They offer superior products that outcompete other brand's offerings in this price range.

I bought brushed nickel and the finish is beautiful. Very smooth. Almost looks like it has an automotive clear coat. Very thick wall pipe. The escutcheon is also well made. A little pricey at $40 but you get what you pay for. This is the third one I have bought and would buy again.

Nice solid product…..

Very high quality shower arm. It has a heavy wall compared to big name brands - it is actually real pipe with properly cut 1/2" tapered pipe threads. I had a lot of trouble with big name brand shower arms not sealing in the brand new fitting in the shower wall, due to the improperly cut threads on the thin wall arm. This arm sealed properly on the first try giving me peace of mind. Trim cap is very solid and mounts securely with a set screw. I was able to seal between the shower arm pipe and the hole in the shower wall with butyl tape and the trim cap held the butyl securely in place. Very nice brushed nickle finish.

Wow, best build and very nice installation. Old sowerhead pipe) 20 years old was much thinner and cheaper... this is a solide pipe and beautiful.

High quality. Shower head pipe is very solidly built. Even includes Teflon tape.
