Travel Portable Foldable Electric Kettle, 0.6L Small Collapsible Hot Water Boiler For Coffee Tea (Blue)

A friend had one on a recent trip, and I HAD TO HAVE IT!!! Works great and I love the ability to pack it up so that I can have fresh water for tea that does not taste like a stale hotel coffee pot!

We travel with it, and it folds down compactly and works really well. The silicone part is a little hot to touch after the water's boiled, but that's about it for any negative mentions. It's not so hot that it burns; you have to be aware of it, that's all. It boiled really quickly, and the water was really hot. All in all, it's been a good purchase.

better quality than I thought it would be. Soft silicone folds easily to a small size. I ordered a folding drip basket in silicone to go with it, takes the size 2 triangle filters. Works nicely, boils water in about 4 minutes. Great to fold up and bring to hotels because we don't like the lobby coffee or the in room cheap coffee/sketchy Keurigs found in even nice hotels. Also is great to take camping or even have in the home disaster prep supplies to run with a portable power station. Highly recommend! I like the white color better than the colored ones because I can see how full it is and easier to see when boiling.

The good: I bought this for a trip 3 years ago and was able to use it safely in a moving vehicle. I've used it ever since. Its convenient to set it up due to the auto shut off while I cook my food or even for food that just requires hot water so I can free up microwaves/stove space. One less thing to worry about watching. Its also easier to store away than a traditional kettle. I don't find the middle bends when I pick it up either. I also like that the plug can be removed entirely for storage. I'm docking a star for 3 reasons: 1) It has that problem with crystal build up on the bottom that all these products that heat up water with something underneath an aluminum pan tend to have, and the shape/size does make it a tiny bit annoying to clean due to this. Its not difficult, just annoying. The crystals do not effect the water taste. 2) The cover does not stay on the best so I either hold it down or open with my thumb depending on how much I am tipping the kettle. This is a minor complaint but worth mentioning. 3) The plug is easily its bigger draw back..its short and thus hard to find somewhere to plug it in. It's also very hard to unplug from the unit itself, I end up unplugging it from the wall instead to prevent touching anything hot while removing it or accidentally spilling hot water. If you have a kettle already, you probably don't need this unless you want to save on space. If you want this for a trip, I do recommend it.

This is a great little water kettle. We bought it to take with us on trips to make coffee (instant) in the morning. It heats up the water quickly just like a regular kettle. I will be careful when collapsing / uncollapsing because although the silicone seems very sturdy, i still don’t want to chance to rip it. I think it is a great purchase, and highly recommend it

After a little more than a month the plug stopped working unless I wiggled it back and forth and held it a certain way as soon as it lit up. Very disappointing. I missed the deadline to return. I am bedbound and this product gave me a bit of self sufficiency. I was able to make tea, hot chocolate, instant flavored coffee, instant oatmeal. I am on a very limited income and will be unable to replace this for a very long time. Update: June 23,,2024. I pulled this out of the cabinet beside my bed and decided to give it a try again. I was amazed that it actually worked and I was able to enjoy hot tea again. For exactly 3 days. Now it is nothing but a little water pitcher. I am very concerned about this product. For the few days it worked the plug got very hot and a bit of the plastic where you plug it in melted I realize it is not safe to try to use it anymore. As I said in my initial review, I am bedbound. Should it ever catch on fire and I'm alone ...well it is a tragedy waiting to happen. I am on a very limited income and cannot buy a replacement. If course it is long past time to return it I wish the manufacturer had created a more reliable, safer product.

I absolutely love this Kettle. It folds down so it don't take hardly any room in my suitcase. It heats water fast enough. So now I can the my tea or soup in the hotel when I travel. I purchased it thinking it was cut but thought it was just another gimmick. I was surprised how handy it was.Now when I travel I make sure to pack it.

I bought one before and this was a second but because it was a gift. I really like the automatic shut off but it's best to turn it off manually because after it cools the product turns back on and heats up again. I wish when it shut off it would permanently shut it off but it doesn't do that. Now when we are done with it we just turn it off and unplug it. This item didn't have the frills I had gotten before but it was less money. It makes a great gift for people who do a lot of counter cooking. It folds up if you need it but we use it so much that it's always the same height. The water heats up very fast and is contained without any spills. It's almost impossible to be burned with the steam because there's a cover over the top. Worth the money.
