Radio Flyer Classic Red Dual Deck Tricycle

After having reviewed tons of kids tricycles, we ordered the Radio Flyer. It certainly is visually quite appealing with the retro style. It is sturdy and heavy built. The steering limiter is also good. On the downside, one would expect that the wheels turn straight (they are super wobbly front and back). Even after oiling every possible area, the tricycle squeaks and rattles. The rear wheels are just stuck on the bar, no bartings and nothing to ensure a proper roll. All wheels are rubber (not pneumatic wheels, ie limited suspension). The saddle was welded on crooked in the version we got and it always tileted and friend when fastened. For a medium priced tricycle I would have expected better quality control for sure.

It is missing a bolt that holds the back wheel together/attached to the tricycle's body. I needed to order a replacement bolt all the way from the US. Also, the seat is made of metal, so you should make sure that it is always stored inside or under the shade, especially in the summer.

Tak jak pisali poprzednicy jakoś farby na kołach jest straszna, ostre krawędzie też nie są niczym dziwnym. Siodełko jakkolwiek się przykręci i tak będzie się przekręcało i odkręcało, a w instrukcji jest napisane wyraźnie, że za mocno nie można. Dzieci na tym pojadą, owszem, ale absolutnie nie nastawiałbym się na piesze wędrówki z dzieckiem na tym rowerku, nie ma najmniejszych szans. A dodatkowo tylne koła niemiłosiernie skrzypią. Jednak za tą cenę spodziewałem się czegoś innego.

Bin nach wie vor sehr zufrieden mit dem Kauf des Dreirads. Das Fahrzeug sieht gut aus und fährt ganz leicht. Unsere Kinder waren begeistert.
