I can't imagine a better grinder
I bought this to replace a JavaPresse ceramic burr grinder. I thought grinders couldn't get much better than that one, but I was proven wrong. This device is indeed MUCH better, I would say absolutely proportional with the price. It produces a more consistent grind in less than a quarter of the time. The sharp steel teeth just make easy work of those beans with barely any effort required. The bearings in the shaft are important because they keep the burr perfectly centered. It feels incredible in the hand, it's thick and heavy with a good knurled grip. The bottom chamber actually screws in which makes it easier to grip while grinding and prevents it from falling out. The grind size selector is simply in another class. A minor touch I like is that the upper lid is integral with the crank, so there's only one piece to remove when you fill it with beans instead of two. If you're reading this, I recommend you buy this product.

Feels like the last coffee grinder I'll ever buy...
After using a perfectly nice Hario ceramic burr grinder for several months, this is a revelation! The precision of the burr means much better particle-size consistency, and although this is usually accompanied by increased acidity and "brightness", with Mcha Sana'ani at least I see an increase in mature tannin and some fruit notes in comparison, and also find myself getting the same cup from a noticeably smaller amount of coffee. The huge, huge difference however, is that this grinder, with it's precise metal burr, grinds me 12g of coffee in about 70 turns of the crank as opposed to about 220 for the Hario, and feels great in the hand while doing it. The roller bearings, the weight, and the knurling around the cylinder all make for a satisfying and quick process - so much so that my only complaint so far is that it's a little too easy and so I'm drinking a lot more coffee than I intend while I acclimate.

TIMEMORE makes best manual coffee grinders
Previously, I've got another version, Slim Plus, to myself. I love any single aspect of TIMEMORE manual grinders - high-end construction and quality, fast and consistent grind, perfect weight, balance and comfort to use. TIMEMORE Chestnut C2 Manual Coffee Grinder was purchased as b/d gift to the friend of mine, and he liked it very much, too. TIMEMORE manual coffee grinder might be the best gift for any coffee aficionado. I highly recommend it

Prob one of the best budget grinders out there.
The quality is good. Grinding is fast and rather efficient. Timemore is prob the one best value one out there for beginner so can't really complain. Let's see how it'll hold up over time.

A nice upgrade from cheaper manual grinders
First off, the build quality is really great. It feels solid and sturdy. It grinds very well and fast for this price range. I would recommend it for traveling, easily. For home use, you might find it too small or too "manual." I have an electric cone burr grinder for my house. The only negatives are the small capacity and the grind adjustment isn't as elegant as full sized grinders. Cleaning is somewhat difficult since to really get at it, you need to completely remove the cone burr and putting it back on with the tension spring is finicky to get the threads started. That said, the dual bearing stabilization is really on let down by that tension spring that hold down the burr to the desired grind size. But the grind is pretty consistent. I use 23 to 27 clicks for my French Press.

Greatest manual grinder
I have tried several hand burr grinders which were highly rated, but eventually became loose or did not perform. The TIMEMORE chestnut C2 max is wonderfully designed from the textured body, sharp steel burr, precise milling. It makes grinding coffee in the morning a joy instead of a workout. I would highly recommend the TIMEMORE grinder, does a great job!

Impressively engineered and fun to use.
This thing is built like a tank. If you like to make just enough expresso grinds for a 6 to 8 ounce brew, this is it. Easy to clean. Easy to take apart and reassemble if you want to do a deep clean. Set the grind per the diagram on the bottom where the adjustment is at (no need to go get the instructions, they are right there on the machine) attach the receiver cup, fill the top with the beans, install the handle and turn the crank until it is quiet. Perfectly ground coffee however you need/want it. Highly recommended. It if very portable since it comes with a carry bag and cleaning brush. No tools necessary to disassemble.

Amazing little grinder!
I make one pour-over cup of coffee in the morning, so it HAS to be perfect - and now it is! My kitchen has minimal counter space and electrical outlets, so when my Breville grinder failed after 20yrs of faithful service, I decided to go manual. I found that setting the grinder at 28 clicks (to the left, from a full stop to the right) gives me a perfect dose (2 T) after 32 turns of the handle, a small price to pay for more counter space and an open outlet :)

Solid build grinder. Actually got the Fold version while ordering the base model. Quick grinding. Use is for Aeropress while traveling.

Para su uso hay que girarlo en sentido horario hasta que la manivela se trabe una vez ahí es el punto cero. Para moler hay que girar en sentido antihorario escuchando cada clic. La molienda es consistente, en definitiva excelente relación calidad precio.

This is the perfect grinder. I had an electric one and this is even better than that. The grind quality is very good, the ground beans are proportional. It is very easy to use and all the design elements are well thought out. I use is daily with my espresso machine, once in a while I also grind beans for my pour over or french press. All of that works great.
