Agreed: The picture here is misleading
From the picture on this product page, it looks like the "blade" is larger than the handle. In reality, the blade is fairly small in proportion to the entire package. The firs thing I thought when I opened it was that it didn't look right, so I re-checked the page here and saw that the product was "on hold". I'm guessing for this reason???Anyway, it's a nice destruction tool. Good weight, fiberglass handle with a heavy rubber grip. I tested it pulling nails, and there's little to no flex in the handle when pulling regular nails. You can really get it to move if you're pulling the old, heavy nails out of larger posts. But that's normal for any hammer. The blade isn't super sharp, could use a good run over a sharpening wheel. But out of the box it can do some serious damage to walls/boards. I used it to smack up some fiber-board pieces from an old desk kit. Worked great.Overall, a nice tool, and face it, it looks cool. I'm sure that's one reason these are popular. But take a look at the OTHER product page on Amazon, it shows another angle of the tool and you can see the oversize much more clearly.

garbage
It broke in half the first time I tried to pry a nail, returned it and bought a rigging hatchet for half the price

You may not be THOR but this will make you feel like a hero when you wield it.
Awesome, Urban, Travel, demo, Camping, (No not Zombies get real.) Axe tool!Already busted up some pallets with malice for a bonfire fire and been camping and processed some firewood and felled a 4" tree on the property as a real world test. Shortcomings? Well it was dull as heck but 10min with a file fixed that. I do wish it came with a competent sheath but there is a functional reasonably tough plastic edge guard included. I plan to create some kind of Kydex guard that will do it justice so that's not too big of a deal. The only thing I really wish it had was a sleeved lanyard hole at the end. I would like to make a sabre guard paracord strap so a hole would be useful.Seriously though, this is a fine tool and I look at it as a buy once solution to multiple uses outdoors, and a gap filler for many other uses. Skip the hatchet and the Fatmax bar and try this, consider the lifetime guarantee and made in the USA giddy feeling there are still great American products you haven't tried.

Made In America
Just got this tool yesterday and I am very happy with my purchase! I did a lot of research on this product and loved that it is made of heat treated steel. NOT COLD STEEL. It also has a life time replacement Guarantee. My only complaints are the sheath is junk and the edge on the ax was not sharp at all. I mean it literally has a 1-2 mill edge. But that was an easy fix with a bench grinder and a wet stone. The weight is good and it feels good in your hand too. The only weakness maybe the shaft. Im not sure if there is a metal bar through it or if its just fiberglass. but either way if it ever breaks they will replace it for free. and if its during the Apocalypse I will just through a wood shaft and handle on it with a bolt. Over all I would suggest this tool to anyone that camps, is an EMT, Police officer, Firefighter or survivalist. GREAT TOOL, VERY STRONG, AND MADE IN AMERICA WITH PA STEEL! Shipping was great.
