Reliability
First one was not working correctly. Would burn 2/3 of the way and then freeze and stop including the program I used. Had a replacement sent and this one works like it should. Have bought them before, first time I've had issues with any of them in 12 years.

Packaging
Shipped in mfs box! Lightweight box, case lot box with a non locking tab. Box was delivered without even a piece of tape to seal. Box opened with a finger flip.

works well with BDXL, DVD+R and CD-R.
Tested using imgburn. doesnt work well with a USB to SATA adapter(JM20336 & JM20338 chipset),hunged while closing sessions. Works perfectly when connected to motherboard's SATA port.

Hola!Ayer despues de un lento proceso de transporte recibi la unidad, venia en una caja del tamaño justo del producto. Revisado y llego en buen estado, lee sin problemas los DVD y BD. Ahora a usarla :)

Not worth it at all
If it were possible to leave 0 Stars I would,1st one stopped working within days of having it so returned to amazon to get another one and this one stopped working,but the window closed to return it so I called LG to use the warranty but was basically told to just download and try a bunch of different burning programs until I find one that works...horrible product and even worse customer service, save your money and buy something better.
