I really love these boxes of commonly used colors. There are about 30 colors that I use a lot and I have not found any sets that contain just these colors and no others. Plus, I already have collected the colors I use less often that come in larger sets, like the extremely pale colors and many of the gray-spectrum colors. So these boxes of 6 commonly-used colors are very helpful, and the pencils themselves are good quality--the colors go on smoothly and are vibrant. The only thing I would like better is if they offered even more colors--eg, the sky blue they offer is a nice sky blue, but there is no light blue available. So I wish they would offer even more colors in boxes of 6 like this!

Excellent pencil. Very rich colors.

They could be cheaper alternatives to Prismacolor colored pencils. I've only used black pencils. They're smooth with enough pigment for my needs. (update) I have to take out one star because I find them a bit more waxy if compared to Prismacolor side by side and less dark.

The box of 12 black pencils is a fabulous product. The color is deep and true, perfect for my artistic decisions.
