Prime-Line L 5810 Window Screen Pull Tabs, Clear, Nylon (6 Pack)

Nylon pull will probably degrade over time but the biggest media challenge was figuring out that it needed to be installed, not by putting it under the cord within the channel, but simply on the edge of the channel itself. Honestly, it’s not like there are that many options, but it was a bit of a struggle until that “aha” moment. Beyond that, they seem to be working fine.

I love the size and sturdiness of these tabs - I just replaced 15 window screens and these tabs are so much better than the thin, cheap tabs that the screens originally came with. These are going to last!!! I’m glad I bought extras to have on hand when I need to replace my remaining window screens!!!

This was the closest shape to my current screen handles. The installation was quick and easy.Happy to have found this product on line for a reasonable price.

I do not like these because they will not stay in the screen frame very well and they are hard to grab when you want to get the screen out. One broke when I tried to see how it would pull out the screen.

The part that goes into the slot were to big almost ripping the screen when I payed it. Luckily I stopped and cut the tab. That way there was only a part down the side of the rubber tubing insert and not around the rubber tubing insert like it’s designed to be. It doesn’t really work this way but with modifications it has the tabs like the rest of the screens in my house now.

It just requires extra tools to uninstall and reinstall the rubber gasket.

They are pretty flimsy, but they seem to do the job. If you're pulling on them alone, I think they'll break on you, but I did not have the experience. I did use a screw driver to assist with putting the screens back in the window, because I think pulling on the tabs alone is a bit too much stress on them. Giving 5 stars because they worked even as hard as I did pull on them. Will they last forever? Look at the price and rethink that question and fix the perception.
