L'adattatore permette di adattare spine tedesche (schuko) a quelle americane. Sarò subito schietto: la spina americana non è stata progettata bene. I due terminali che portano effettivamente la corrente (i due terminali piatti paralleli, non sto facendo riferimento alla messa a terra rotonda posta più in basso) sono troppo corti per dare una stabilità alla presa. Mi spiego meglio. Esistono adattatori che convertono la nostra presa italiana a tre poli nella presa americana a due terminali, quindi senza messa a terra. Tralasciando il discorso sicurezza i due terminali americani fanno fatica a supportare il preso di un caricatore o qualsiasi presa da muro che sia un pochino più pesante. Con l'adattatore VINTAR si ha invece il terzo terminale (messa a terra) che non solo garantisce sicurezza in caso di dispersioni, corto circuiti o altro, bensì da maggiore stabilità ed evita che le prese si scolleghino nel giro di qualche minuto. se vi serve un adattatore andate sul sicuro con questa.. ATTENZIONE: adatta solo la schuko o i due soli terminali. Vanno benissimo quindi tutti i caricatori per telefoni in quanto hanno solo due "piedi" e tutti i restanti prodotti con presa schuko. Dispositivi elettronici con la presa italiana a tre poli non potranno essere utilizzati. ATTENZIONE PARTE 2: negli US la tensione che si nelle prese è di 110-120 V. Dispositivi come caricatori di telefono o pc in genere funzionano con questi voltaggi ma in ogni caso prima di collegarlo alla presa americana controllare SEMPRE se il range di funzionamento del dispositivo contiene la tensione americana. La presa non andrà infatti a convertire la tua tensione a 110 V ma si "limita" a permetterti di usare una presa italiana su una americana

Ein sehr stabiler und wertiger Adapter, der in der Breite allerdings aufträgt. Funktioniert einwandfrei. Eines hat sich mir nicht erschlossen: auf dem Bild sind die Pins scheinbar (warum auch immer) abnehmbar, aber bei meinen Adaptern ist nichts abzunehmen und aus einem Stück.
