The best consumer electronics device I've ever owned
The Philips Norelco 9000 is perhaps the best consumer electronics device I've ever owned. I bought this in 2022 to replace the trusty Philips Norelco BeardTrimmer 7300 that I had purchased way back in 2012. Now, three years later, I am moved to write this review to extol the virtues of this wonder. The battery life is astonishing. I use it regularly to trim my full beard and other facial hair, and I honestly think I've only ever had to recharge the battery a handful of times, maybe once a year? It has never nicked my skin. Although the trimming head is wide enough for heavy duty chores, it is surprisingly precise. It is very handy and travels extremely well. The adjustment for trimming hair length is stays set in place unless you decide to easily change it. Maybe in 2032 I'll be ready for my next Philips Norelco trimmer, but until then I am delighted that I have this.

Smooth beard trimmer, good battery life
Only used it a few times so far but so far: Does a smooth shave with and without the guard attachment; very smooth!works well; battery life seems great, I charged it for like 15 minutes and could use it right away; it feels good and solid and sturdy; easy to open and clean; it's nice that it is waterproof. The small case is nice for travel. I do not think it would be good for edging at 0.4MM shortest length, I mean it is enough to set a target line or something but you really need a razor or a shaver that goes fully down to the skin. But it is a beard trimmer, not shaver, so that is OK, I shave with something else anyways. Overall very happy with the purchase. Would be nice for $100 if it came with a couple other guards just in case yours broke though or if you wanted more length. If durability is an issue I will report back but so far it is great.

Pretty good
After 4 months of use - overall it’s great. Compared to the previous versions that have 20 attachments, this is so much more convenient with one dial. The two complaints I have are 1. When trimming at the lowest level (trying to do the beard edges), it’s not that close/accurate to get a clean line. 2. It makes a huge mess overall- you will literally get a 3’ radius of trimmings in every direction, all over your counter. No idea why this happens.Battery life is good, easy of use, ergonomics, etc is all great. Hopefully it lasts a long time.

Excellent premium beard trimmer
Well made, hefty with a steel surface. Blade and comb are made of steel as well. Works great for trimming. Battery lasts for several days. Fully waterproof, which is really convenient.

I've only had it a day, but I love it already.
I have only had this for a day but I already love it. I have a similar Philis Multigroomer trimmer (7790/40 model), which comes with about 30,000 different blade guides and other accessories. I really like the multigroomer but I almost never use the kazilion blade guides, etc. When I was cutting my own hair (thank you, pandemic), I graduated to serious clippers (Andis, Babyliss) because the multigroomer wasn't quite up to the task. I did use it occasionally as a beard and mustache trimmer, but the multitude of guards and having to swap them around all the time made it rather tedious. I've had half a dozen other trimmers of various brands, too, and have never been in love with any of them. There's the backstory. On to the good part. Enter the Philips OneBlade 360. "But wait, that's not this trimmer!" you exclaim. I stumbled on that trimmer a couple of days ago and, well, why not? Figured I would give it a try. Really like it! But that's a whole different review. It does not, however, come with a case, the search for which led me to THIS trimmer. When I saw the 9810, I quickly realized it is basically the same trimmer as the multigroomer, without all the blade guides, etc., and the really slick dial-in trimming adjustment. Sold.So why did I buy it when I had just bought the OneBlade 360?They are really good at different things. The OneBlade 360 I bought, which is the face and body trimmer version, is great for edging, shaping, clean up, manscaping, etc., and a quick face clean up when I don't want to wet shave. It's super maneuverable, quick, and versatile. In short, I like it for quick cleanups and edging but not so much for an all-out trim. The BT9810 is excellent for more serious trimming. I get the benefits of a trimmer with multiple blade guards without all the fiddling around. It is bulkier and less nimble than the OneBlade for clean-up and shaping but does a better job at the more involved or thicker cutting. You aren't going to use this in other places either, like for manscaping. I got more consistent length when setting this to a 5mm cut and hitting my mustache and beard than with the OneBlade. The OneBlade gave me nicer edges. Probably because it is just more maneuverable and shaves more like a razor in some ways. So, I wound up with two clippers I didn't know I needed. I love them both. And if you are a fan of Philips multigroomers but don't need or want 30,000,000 separate guides, this is for you.Have someone on your holiday list that you want to spoil? Buy them this trimmer. Or buy them both. Or buy them for yourself. All the other lackluster trimmers are going to the thrift shop now. I'll keep the multigroomer for those oddball occasions when I want the versatility of multiple blade guards, the body groomer, and interchangeable blades. If you read this far, you definitely deserve to buy yourself this trimmer.

Buy it, it is worth the money. No con's at all.
This is the perfect beard trimmer. I have owned them all, and this is sharp, easy to use, easy to clean and accurate. I have always had blade attachments but this wheel allows me to adjust my trim perfectly. I was concerned about the amount the adjustment would allow, don't be. Plenty long enough, in fact, I stored the plastic comb, don't need it.

Great beard trimmer.
The best beard trimmer I’ve used. I recently left my Manscape trimmer on vacation (I glad I did). This by far a better product. It’s trims with ease and the adjustments are perfect. I’ve only had it for a couple of weeks but it appears to be a quality trimmer. Very impressed!
