It works as described
After using this for three weeks, I can say it really does decrease the amount of detritus. My black substrate really shows any detritus and it looks much better. I also see less detritus get stirred up when doing water changes. The sponge and filter pad also seems to less gunk in it. The nitrates might also be a little lower, but they were already pretty low so I can't say for sure.

Product works as advertised. Cleared up my tank water in a day and has kept it pure and sparkling. Fish are healthy and happy. Highly recommend this.

It's ok but.....
I started using this stuff about a month ago. I didn't have any problems until now. I treated both my tanks last night and woke up to find all my cichlids gasping for air. My other tank was fine. The difference is that my cichlid tank doesn't have much surface stimulation as my other. So even with correct doses this stuff depletes oxygen. I'm not saying it's a bad product ..just make sure your tank is getting oxygenated very well if you use it.
