Have wood floor in home office that was getting marks from chair. Not high quality fabric but has stayed stuck down to floor and chair moves across it with no problem.

This isn't a tiger skin or persian rug. You're getting what you pay for and I'm extremely satisfied with this purchase. Works great on vinyl! This mat does have a special surface underneath that does a pretty good job at preventing it from sliding around. My office/gaming chair rolls great over it although my chair stays mainly stationary. I like the feel of the mat on my feet with socks. Very comfortable while sitting long hours at my desk working. I maybe wish I got the larger version but I must recommend this product for hard floors!

Not the prettiest rug you could buy, but if you sit in a desk chair on rolling casters that tends to roll out from under you across a hard floor, this does help keep it in place -- and keep you from pratfalls. It being trimmable to the size and shape you exactly need is a plus. It is definitely non-stick, once you peel off the cling-film backing, so it won't slip out from under you. Low pile helps avoid tripping over the edges, too. While my desk chair does roll when and where I want it to, it no longer rolls when I don't want it to. And while it does cling to the floor surface, it easily peels off when needed.Added bonus: I used some of the extra length I trimmed off as a not-very-pretty sleeve cover for the arm of my desk chair. Now when the cat reaches up with her claws, she gets the rug instead of the furniture!Not that pretty, but very effective, especially for the price, so I do recommend it.

I've had this mat for about a year and a half now. I received the wrong color, blue instead of brown, but that wasn't an issue for me. This mat is thin and wears quickly. I have several spots that look dirty, but are actually just worn spots. It's so light that the vacuum sucks it up and moves it around a lot. It works for a home office, but I wouldn't use it in a professional environment.

I've had this black mat for almost a year and it is still holding up. Minimal shedding from the chair wheels, does not bunch up or move, easy to vacuum, and easy to roll my chair on. I would order again. PS. I have no pets.

It shreds a lot. I’d you have a stationary chair, or may work for you, but one on rollers, you’ll vacuum everyday. It catches the tiniest of particles, so you’ll vacuum everyday. And as the photo shows, it wears quickly, and without being taped to the floor, it will move around. Not worth the money, make another selection!

I bought and installed over laminate flooring in late May 2022. Floor was cleaned before application. Mat was easy to install. I let it set for a couple of days to let the fold creases relax. I made sure the mat was under table legs to aid in anchoring. I only use the office where the mat was installed 2-3 days a week. The sheading started immediately and over time the shedding was decreasing. The problem I have is the rolling up on the front edge starting curling soon after installation.The description says the mat is washable. Kind of hard to believe but maybe I will try it. I am confident the floor was clean prior to installation.Maybe, I was hoping for a miracle floor mat.

It helps if you peel the protective film (for shipping) on the bottom so it can stick to the floor, otherwise it will slide all over the place. It took me two days to realize (Bingo!!) that was the reason the matt was sliding everywhere.
