Hi Brown Fan, I would recommend just looking up some you tube depotting tutorial videos. There are tons of tutorials online. You can even search using your specific brand of makeup (i.e. "Almay eyeshadow depotting")

Does the lid click shut like regular makeup cases? I'd like to carry it in my purse and travel with it.
