7 Port USB Hub - Plugable USB Hub for Multiple Devices and USB 2.0 Data Transfer with a 60W Power Adapter - Driverless

This was while ago, and still working perfectly.

I bought this because of the advertising that says it will power a Pi2 with its higher current requirement (2A). I tried it and got a low voltage warning. Pi2 still worked. Tried a very short cable and still got a low voltage notification. (that is the color square flashing in the upper right corner of the screen). Finally tried a longer cable in between the lengths of the other two and, SUCCESS!! I then ordered what looked like a good one to use that was short and it worked. So I have it all. One plugin powers the Hub, the Pi2 and an external portable hard drive. All taking power from this hub and also, of course, it is sharing the hard drive with the software like it should do. No conflict between the powering and the USB operation. Both work. That means that there are two cables from Hub to Pi2 going to different sockets. 1 for power, 1 for USB data operation. Works great!! Just be sure to not give up too fast. It might take a cable or two to get one that is low enough resistance to let the required power go through to the Pi2. Running Kodi XBMC and it runs GREAT!! Very happy for a couple of weeks now. Thanks, Plugable, for the excellent, speedy email support.

Yay! Finally found a USB hub that works to sync AND charge my iPad Air and our iPhone 5s. It also works to attach my 3 USB 2.0 backup drives, a USB thumb drive I keep for documents, a label printer and a couple other odds and ends I tested it with. Basically, a great all-purpose USB hub that finally eliminates the need for separate charge and sync sessions for my Apple gear.I had a previous, powered Pluggable brand 10-port hub, but it always said "not charging," though it was, in fact, charging very, very slowly, for my iPhone and iPad. (The iPad sometimes would run down completely when plugged into it, though.) Pain in the patooty to have to have a separate place to plug in for charging and syncing/back-up, being able to do it all in one unit is so worth the small price of this new hub.

I like the design of the hub, all ports in front, so they are easily accessible. They have good spacing between them, to accommodate some oddly shaped devices. The only drawback is their use of a momentary power switch that does not remember the power state after a power loss. This is quite annoying for people that don't have a UPS, or people that turn off their computers at night, using a common power strip. To have to remember to power up the hub is a pain. So I opened it up, and shorted out the power button, its a hack, but it solved the only problem I had with this product.

This thing worked fine for about a 16 months. Then it started randomly disconnecting devices plugged into it. Sometimes this happens when it is touched, other times it just happens spontaneously. I give it one star because this is the one thing I expect the device to do and it has become unreliable.Update: I contacted Plugable customer service about this problem. They responded right away. After asking a few questions and having me run a few diagnostics they shipped me a replacement unit. Didn't even require me to return the old one!

Powers 6 signal generators for a test set up in our lab. Works as expected. Keeps the batteries charged.

I purchased one of these to recursively power my whole Raspberry Pi Zero MP3 streaming setup with just 1 AC adapter. I have the 'USB in' of the hub plugged into the 'USB out' on the RP Zero for data (like normal), but then I also have the RP Zero plugged into one of the hub's 'USB out' for power. It looks a little odd to connect the RP Zero to the hub with 2 USB cables, but it works just fine! The hub provides enough power to run the RP Zero, a WiFi dongle, a Bluetooth adapter, a Logitech Unifying dongle, and a 3TB HD.

I like the power method. I like having the on/off switch. I like the very small 'on' LED for the Hub.Most of all the HUB though small, is larger than what you usually get. I really don't like all this super small stuffeverybody wants to put out. It's nice to get some decent size. I guess this is about right. I wouldn't want it any smaller though. I just purchased 2 and have 8 items connected (in total). All hooked right up, no issue at all.

さすがUSB製品屋、といったところでしょうか安いハブでは機器の相性が出やすかったり、そもそも使えないポートがあったり、など“普通にある”ことだけどこのハブにはそうした問題が一切でませんでした。本来は当たり前なんでしょうが、ちょっと感動しました公式ページにリンクまわりの相性リストが記載されていたり、真摯な物作りの姿勢を感じますうちでは今のところ、Logicoolのm950t用無線アダプタ、Wacomのintuos5用無線アダプタ、同ペンタブ有線、Razerのorbweaver有線、YamahaのUSBDAC搭載アンプ、stinky footboard、中華製XBOX360用無線アダプタ　というある意味ではUSBハブにとって悪夢みたいな、非常にケッタイな構成で接続していますが、もう何ヶ月も、何の障害も発生していません多少高価でも、ハブの問題にもう悩みたくないという人に是非試してみてもらいたい製品と思います

今まで使っていたハブの中で一番安定したものです。普通のハブだと特にタブレットはあまり使うものになりませんが、このハブでは問題なく何台でも充電できています。60W電源により、各ポート1.5Aまで利用可能で、接続が切れることがありません。古いアンドロイド2.3の端末だとたまに同期できないやつがあるんが、それ以外はほぼなんでも問題なく使えるので幸いです。

電源付きで全ポートUSBバスパワーによる給電が可能なハブです。メインのPCが無線の機器の使用が増えて常時いろいろなUSBが刺さっているせいか周辺機器の動作が不安定になっていたので給電が安定してポートの多いハブは非常に助かります。本機をつかってUSB機器のトラブルの大半が電源周りに起因しているのがよくわかりました。速度的にUSB 2.0 480Mbps までの規格ですが、安定しているのでむしろストレスなく運用出来ています。メモリなど挿して頻繁に途切れるポートがあるかたも試す価値はあると思います。

It works as advertised and the price was reasonable. I consider three areas, neccessary for rating a product: 1⭐️ for the ‘idea’ quality, 1⭐️ for the ‘materials’ quality, and 2⭐️s, for the final ‘result’ (build) quality. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ s, is an above average rating for me. I’d recommend it to anyone.
