what is the guarantee on this product? what is the life expectancy?

What in the tray made out of?

The tray is made of plastic. I would NOT recommend buying it tho. The wheels are poorly attached to the frame and break with in the first few uses. And they do not respond to you when you contact them. I got one for my daddy and he used it twice and it broke, my dad is very slim about 180 lbs, I suggest you try another brand.

Can you help me find replacement casters for this rolling stool? Twice I've ordered the right wheel size not to have the screw base fit.

Is that base plastic or metal?

It is made of lightweight plastic, and it flops around when you pick up the stool. With tools in it maybe not. My stool has a padded seat and is great to move around in. It is very stable and easy to move around in. If the floppy tray bugs you, drill holes in it and wire it to the legs.
