I have a very old drill press without a crank to adjust the height of the table. I have seen a lot of different designs to add adjustability but some of them are a little strange. I use this bottle jack to adjust the height just fine. I place it under the table as close as possible to the shaft and make sure the clamp is very loose on the shaft. To lower the table I relieve the pressure in the jack, and just press down on the top of the table.Easy solution.

At first thought the tops spun up, but they dont, so painted it brown after whacking on it.These 50 ton jacks really do push, they lifted my main house girder. I got 2 jacks, other 20ton jacks I bought from Home Depot failed, took them back.You really need 50 tons to lift a house. I used 4 to 5 layers of 3/4 plywood about 2x2 foot squared as a base on the dirt. For the girder a big piece of 9/16 thick steel plate, about 7 x12 inch. That worked very well to support the jacks.The frog is really cool dont you think?

Jack works fine the handle leaves a bit to be desired lt keeps coming apart in use and slides threw yoke and gets stuck leaving you with a short handle

Many reviewed that it does not go down on its own. If you have any experience with a bottle jack you would know it takes force to put it down. Thus far it is what was described. Hopefully, I never need it but it will do the job when I do need it.

Order came and I got all 4 jacks but only 2 handles I will have to find 2 more handles for the other 2. 1 jack had cosmetic damage the manufacture label was scraped up and so was the paint down to metal and has surface rust on it. And 2 came with bent carrying handles as well. Contacted sell and was told these were sold out and they would check and see if they had extra handles and if they did then they would send them. I’m going to be using these to jack up a two story house.

The product itself was scratched all up as if it was already used. The instruction sheet was all wrinkled up. The box it was in and the carton was damaged to the point where I couldn’t return it in original boxes if I wanted to. I haven’t used it yet, so I can’t leave a review on how it works yet.
